are you planning on dumping as soon as the snapshot happens or are you going to hold?
Going to be hard not selling any before the fork if it continues to rise like it is, but missing out on the BTCP is the consequence of selling.
Decisions, decisions....

I don't know why anyone would want to hold ZCL after the snapshot. The price is going to tank HARD and you'd be lucky to dump any of it at a decent price after the snapshot. you'll likely be stuck with your ZCL that will be worth almost nothing, and your BTCP which will have value. Definitely worth a shot to try and dump it at the snapshot though I guess.

Does anyone know what the status of Bittrex and support for the fork are?

Also - will Trezor support the fork for the BTC I have stored there?

I believe Bittrex will support but heard they have been having issues with their wallet?

I do not think Trezor will support the fork...I do not know but I think it has to be a public visible wallet since the snapshot is the Blockchain?

BTC might be different, I know there is some ZCL FAQ here.....

Typically the exchanges don?t make any announcement one way or the other about supporting a fork until very close to the event itself.
As of now, the trezor will not support the fork but they are working on it and an announcement is coming soon.
Best bet is to send your ZCL to the new Zclassic electrum wallet if you want to be sure to get BTCP after the fork.

Yes.

They control 90% of the ZCL too. If they just dump or do not claim the BTCP then it will have a very low supply. Depends if it gets supported well and is functional in any capacity.

Shitcoins are, well, shitcoins.

From Bittrex:

Bitcoin Private (BTCP) is a proposed "fork" of Zclassic (ZCL), combining the Unspent Transaction Output (UXTO) set of ZCL with the UXTO's of Bitcoin (BTC). The UXTO snapshots are considered the first ZCL and BTC blocks found after February 28th, 5pm UTC.

Bittrex will NOT be supporting the market for Bitcoin Private but due to issues with the Zclassic wallet, we will offer Zclassic holders on Bittrex partial support through claiming and withdrawing BTCP.

Bittrex has shut down the Zclassic wallet for deposits and withdrawals as a significant amount of coinbase transactions and UXTO's in the wallet has led to deposit and withdrawal delays. Please make sure you have cancelled any pending ZCL withdrawals. Bittrex will suspend deposits and withdrawals of ZCL until after the snapshots are complete and the wallet is in workable state.

Bittrex will suspend the Zclassic market approximately 15 minutes before the snapshot time and perform an on-exchange snapshot of ZCL balances. The market will re-open after 5pm UTC once the on-exchange snapshot is complete.

Bittrex will make all reasonable attempts to credit our ZCL users BTCP but until we have a fully supported wallet, we can not guarantee tokens. We will continue to monitor the state of the codebase and network. Since the ZCL wallet contains a significant amount of UXTO's to clean up and consolidate, we anticipate that BTCP will be available at least a week from the time of the BTCP network launch.

ZCL holders

Kucoin will trade BTCP and give all BTC holders their 1:1 once BTCP is offered on their exchange.
I sent my ZCL to a wallet that is supporting the fork and will send it to kucoin once I receive it.
Surprised ZCL is still trading around 30 USD this far after the fork.
Curious to see what happens the next few days with it.
No rush to sell mine; I bought them for BTCP so time will tell if it was a good idea or not.
I?m leaning towards no just because of the continued bear market in crypto but anyone who tells you they know what?s going to happen next in this space is a fucking liar. :mj07:

KuCoin not listing BTCP apparently on exchange. things could not really go much worse for BTCP.

Saw that, too. Holding a worthless bag of BTCP it seems. Plenty of people saying it takes a while to get listed but with bittrex already saying no and now kucoin... ugh.
Complete and total bloodbath in the crypto space lately.
Doesn?t seem that there?s an end to it, either.
Holding tight to what I own but not adding any fiat.
Still have twice my initial investment but am seriously thinking of going to 100% fiat and possibly getting back in at sometime in the future
