I love Washington in this spot. They're getting 9 points from the Hornets who have a major injury in their big man, Emeka Okafor. Okafor will miss at least two weeks. Also on the New Orleans' plate is a huge game at Oklahoma City tomorrow evening. I have tonight's game statistically capped at the Hornets giving 11 points but I just can't see them winning by more than 5 with Okafor out and that BIG game on the road at OKC tomorrow.

I also love San Antonio only having to give up 5 points against Portland tonight. The Spurs absolutely crushed Portland by 17 points in San Antonio on December 12. And that was with Marcus Camby and Brandon Roy healthy and playing. I understand that the Spurs have a big game in LA on Thursday but I have this game capped with the Spurs giving 8 points. I'll take them giving 5 anytime.

I also like the spot for Houston to cover tonight. The Lakers have a huge game on Thursday while they host San Antonio. They cannot lose that game under any circumstances and that will translate to a cover by the Rockets tonight. This is an exact mirror of what happened last week. The Lakers were giving 13 points at home to Sacramento and the Kings won that game and easily covered because the Lakers fell asleep due to the big home game they had against Boston two days later. All of that along with the fact that the Rockets have covered both spreads of +7 and +5.5 earlier this season.

Thanks. I capped that Spurs game horribly. It was still a day in the plus. The Spurs had it going early in the third then looked deflated and gave up. Really wanted a 3-0 night.

Tomorrow will be busy as there is a full card. :toast:
