4-2 going into the top of the 4th. The Iowa pitcher was unhittable early...that error to start the btm of the third hurt. Good game so far.

How about the Minny kid...5'11' 195lbs...omg.

that'll be mine if he doesn't quit growing soon ;) (maybe it was cuz he was born in the Minny area and now plays for NWLL Minor League) he's a first year player, is about 5'3" and 125 right now, and just turned 10 the end of April. I sure hope the all star pitching coach for NWLL hangs in there for the *tween* years..... Rick Cartee is the all-star pitching coach, he was a coach of record for my kids team this year (although was mainly dedicated to his older son in the major leagues). his younger son that played on the same team as mine is only an 8 yr. old, so it'll be a few more years before he's eligible for the all-star team, but what a pitcher that kid will be in 4 more years!!!!

Iowa wins!

I was 6-2, 230 when I started seventh grade as a 12-year old, so I can relate to that big kid from Minny.

Mama.... where in Minnesota was that team from?

BJ, they were basically a 2nd to 3rd tier northern St. Paul burb.... i know it was an Anoka County team, but that's about all i know about it.

and yup...... big boys from farm country ain't unusual!!!!!

gotta say i was a little disappointed in the play of NWLL tonight, as they are a much better team than they showed that they were. Could have been first TV game jitters! their next 3 games from PA will all be televised, and hopefully all W's!!
