here in Massachusetts we have had 18 St. years of Republican governors, 4 of them. They like to hang their hat on the facts that they don't raise taxes, however the constituents of the commonwealth voted for a roll back of taxes 3 years ago and Romney has repeatedly refused to incorporate it. Further they have raised every possible fee imaginable, drivers license, registration, inspection sticker, plates, all have sky rocket about 40 percent, as well as property taxes have been raised modestly every single year to the point where retired people who have always owned their own home can't afford the property taxes anymore.

The roads and bridges have deteriorated to a point that it resembles driving around Iraq, we even have tunnels falling and killing citizens, all through Republican leadership.

There are almost no police on the St., as murders & crime has increased exponentially every year. Romney continually cuts State police budget. I live 30 minutes outside Boston & several times a week travel to hospital in Boston,,you can go several weeks without ever seeing state police on a highway.
Schools are a absolute joke as SAT scores fall every year.

Going all the way back to Teddy Roosevelt and the start of state parks and beaches, Massachusetts was almost always rated in the top 3 in this category, frequently Massachusetts rated first. Now rates dead last, after 4 Republican governors. Recently read a article where the state now has 6 Park and recreation full time Rangers to canvass the entire state and Islands, down from 60 in 1980. Ya they haven't raised taxes, of course haven't rolled them back either. But they have managed to deteriorate every public service in the state.

AND I must confess, I voted for all of them. Now we have the choice of another shitty Republican, who we have already seen as Lt. Governor sucks, or vote for this idiot Democrat who under Clinton did honorable things like defend cop killer in Florida, and continually petition parole board to parole this shit head who repeatedly tortured & raped a 60 year old woman for over 8 hours, until his capture. What a choice, that's the problem, choices suck in this country for politicians.

Well, sham this is the delima we face today. People who actually care about the country rarely run for politics. Maybe their is a sliver lining afterall with the corrupt administration in charge now. Maybe more people will get involved in politics. The problem like always is money. I love to see some kind of salary cap in politics. Better yet if their was one thing i wouldn't mind paying more taxes for it is to give each participant a certain amount of money and take out all the money both sides raise.
