The Party

The Party

The last superbowl party I came to was the Ravens win over the Raiders. Lived in Texas back then, now live in Vegas( 20 doors down from the recluse) ( Fletcher!!) It,s a great time. To put faces to screen names is great Hell I rode back from Sunset Station Casino( we had the party there, about a 15 minute ride back to strip) and Jack passed out in my wifes lap in the limo. Planning on being there. Not calling out eric! He just has weird hours, up all night working the lines and sleeping when he can. Trust me I know, Knock on his door around 11am and watch out for the dogs!

freelanc, no updates or changes yet. i've been so busy i haven't even finalized everything yet. all i have to finalize is decor and menu so there's no hurry.

the room prices are high so i recommend staying elsewhere if you can find a place.

rolltide...

i booked the monte carlo awhile ago & am paying a shade under $900 for 5 nights. they took 10% off because i have aaa.

try www.hotels.com & kneifl knows of a few discount places also. hopefully he'll chime in.

btw i remember him listing a few sites to check out but don't remember if it's in this thread or was in the summer thread.

but the longer you wait the more costly the rooms will be.

who the hell does aladdin think they are all of a sudden?? WTF?

stratasphere is always a less expensive place to stay and the downtown hotels as well.

maybe the $175 a night at the tropicana isn't bad afterall.

Superbowl weekend means $$$$$ rooms

Superbowl weekend means $$$$$ rooms

Timeshares will be full so no Fairfield for me. I just booked at the Casino Royale for a 4 nights, cost about $376. Would have stayed at the Trop for $550 but If no one is staying there I like being close to Venetian/Caesars/Bellagio/Aladdin. The Central location will be good. Not interested in paying $1000+ when I won't be in the room, but to sleep.

i can't believe ceasar's is charging $526 a night..i stayed there a few years ago & found it to be a dump. we stayed in a suite & there were wine stains in a few spots on the carpet & the furniture was falling apart....a cabinet drawer actually came off in my hand...it must be the reputation.

There are still rooms available at South Point Hotel Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, formerly known as South Coast.

The rooms have 2 queen size beds and Sat nite goes for $129 with Sunday and Monday going for $79 per night.

I stayed here during the World Series of Poker in July. It's a nice new casino, only drawback its about 2-3 miles down Las Vegas Blvd past the Tropicana. But the cost of a cab compared to the strip room prices they are asking is a no brainer.

Hope this helps.
