First, it doesnt matter.
Second, USC.
Third, forget LSU. As long as Les Miles is there, they will not win the big one.
I do agree that it doesn't really matter and as I stated above that I do agree that it should be USC.
But, seriously, don't have your usual short fuse, but what is your problem w/ Les Miles?
He is the first coach to ever have back-to-back 11 win seasons @ LSU. Yeah, he did walk right into a boatload of talent but you constantly destroy the guy and I still can't figure out why. Is it because his TEAM barely lost @ Auburn (phantom pass interference call) and his TEAM committed numerous turnovers including a fumble on the 1-yard line and a safety on a botched kickoff, which cost them the game against Florida.
I'm not saying you do, but everyone hypes Charlie Weis as a savior and this guy thouroughly outcoached him last nite. The adjustments that the LSU coaching staff made @ halftime was the difference in the game and he obviously is a good motivator because his team shows up to play in bowl games.
IMO, it is the coaches @ the big schools, like Oklahoma, like Oregon and like Texas (all examples are from this year) that have a hard time motivating their players in a pointless bowl game. And in all reality, all bowl games are pointless except for one. But Les Miles gets his team up. Last year they routed Miami and this year they routed Notre Dame.
Do you just have bad blood w/ this guy from Okie St. or something? LSU had another succesful year and could be considered, arguably, the best team in the country and IMO is the class of the SEC, not Florida. I think the best possible National Championship game would be either OSU vs. USC or OSU vs LSU.
I think the guy is a good coach and I struggle to understand why all year you have been bashing the guy. And when I say all year it is in reference to a preseason thread that I remember I mentioned LSU being a possible NC game contender and you referenced how it couldn't be possible w/ Les Miles as coach.
Just a little curious as to the basis for your disliking of the guy...
Not to mention how he handled last year w/ the whole Katrina situation which I thought he did a good job, especially for his first year on the job and encountering that kind of turmoil and all.
