The adjustments that the LSU coaching staff made @ halftime was the difference in the game and he obviously is a good motivator because his team shows up to play in bowl games.

I agree w/ you on many counts, but thought I would point out that any adjustments were handled by Pelini, who in my opinion is the top D Coordinator in the land.

Also, the biggest difference b/w LSU D in the 1st and 2nd half was the insertion of Jesse Daniels, who is the defensive "QB". His backup, Craig Steltz, is a hard hitter, but lacks athleticism. I was impressed that Weiss recognized the dropoff and felt he did a good job of exploiting him.

I agree about Pelini, it hurts that NU not only snubbed him for the head coaching job, but treated him like an ahole and told him it would be up to the new head coach whether he kept him or not on D. And now we have Kevin Cosgrove, what a joke, guy is terrible.

I know Michigan shouldn't even be in the conversation if they have the same head coach.

They shouldn't be in the conversation because they'll lose at Wisconsin next year - just like every other team in the Big Ten will.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... shitty schedule this year and I'm biased. But this is a 12-1 team that returns 16 starters and two QBs with starting experience. Michigan at home and at Ohio State (which hasn't been much of a problem for UW recently).

First, it doesnt matter.

Second, USC.

Third, forget LSU. As long as Les Miles is there, they will not win the big one.

i was thinking the same thing. Could you see him against Carrol? It might get embarassing. I will say this tho he showed a lot more class than Carrol running the ball late when he knew the other side was beating down. Carrol has no couth.

Wow. No love for Michigan.

Wisconsin? I grew up there and I like to see them do well, but they need to get way better to be in this conversation.

Wisconsin will likely be favored to beat Michigan when they face off next year (esp. if UW wins at Ohio State the week before, which it should). So if there is no love for Wisconsin, there really shouldn't be any for Michigan.
