buy it to 3 pts and play it big
You like it big at 3 but not at 4? That makes no sense. If you like it big at 3 then buying down the point shouldn't be necessary. This isn't the NCAA football forum is it?
Five of last 6 decided by six points or fewer, duke will try to force the game into a halfcourt set. UNC will obviously want to run. We'll see but I'd lay the 4 in a heartbeat.
philosophical question from a duke fan... how do you go into a game knowing that it's 2 to 1 duke loses...? you want to cheer for them but you know the smart play is UNC ML... i hate to not play it cause if duke loses then i will have just missed out on the UNC $. and it's impossible to escape it... if i go out, it's on at the bar, if i go to a friend's house, they're watching it... the total? i guess i can just bet the total... 141.5. over? under? over? under? first half? second half? i hate north carolina.
i would think you would throw down your whole bankroll seeing how " duke is the most over ranked team in the country" according to your earlier post.
Bryanz, I feel the same way and just don't know.
I capped it at 6 before line came out, so I wasn't too far off. Still, that is a significant difference.
I feel like its a trap. I lost 2 similar games Saturday. I took UNC against State even though line looked fishy. I also took MichSt against OhioSt b/c I thought it was a trap and lost.
So, sometimes its just hard to tell what a trap is and isn't. Or, morel likely, there are traps that teams can manage not to get caught in.
I can't give Duke points at home against a young team. I will most likely play UNC ML for 2-3 units.
fawk it
I got Duke +4
