Why don't you offer the job to the homeless guy instead of the little girl?

I recently asked my friend?s little boy (Johnny) what he wanted to be when he grows up.

He said he wanted to be President some day.

Both of his parents, neo-conservative Republicans, were standing there, so I asked him,

?If you were President what would be the first thing you would do??

He replied,

?I?d cut taxes for the middle class, then I?d extend an olive branch to rest of world and try to rebuild bridges burned by the previous administration, then I?d try to rebuild our failing economy and provide healthcare for the tens of millions of Americans who have none, then I?d end senseless occupation of other countries and bring our troops home, then I?d try to bring our energy policy into the 21st century by focusing on cleaner alternative energies while letting go of obsolete 20th century energies that pollute our environment, then I?d??

His parents both fainted.

Little Johnny looked up at me, winked, and said ?Gets ?em every time?.

XYZ gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.
All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now XYZ gets it too.

He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. XYZ bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

In the morning shower, XYZ reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.

XYZ dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.

He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

XYZ begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. XYZ employer pays these standards because XYZ employer doesn't want his employees to call the union.

If XYZ is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

It is noontime and XYZ needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. XYZ deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect XYZ'S money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.

XYZ has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. XYZ also forgets that his in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university.

XYZ is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the tax-payer funded roads.

He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans.

The house didn't have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification.

He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so XYZ wouldn't have to.

XYZ gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that the beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit XYZ enjoys throughout his day. XYZ agrees: "We don't need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have."

Weasel what is great about that post is that it is very easy to work with. All u do is plug in any of u neonitwits and it works like a charm. Seriously try it. Plug in ur name and u will see the same results. Every benefit u have in ur life off of the hard work from someone else, u use like a common thief and then cry foul when someone else uses the same benefit. Then ya try to tell someone with an IQ around the fifty area that u are a self made man.

yeah,spongy...you guys sure love when the gov`t "does it right"....you know, like the irs and the dept of motor vehicles....

what`s gonna be interesting is seeing what happens in other countries that depend on having the u.s. as their fall back private healthcare provider....

did you know that the candian gov`t spends well over 1 billion bucks a year for their citizens to receive healthcare in the u.s.?(of course you didn`t)...

i wonder where canadians(to say nothing of we americans)will go for medical treatment once there is no private sector in health care left anywhere in the world?....

single payer healthcare...no shopping around...no choices.....no more making our OWN judgments about which treatments and procedures(along with our doctors) are necessary....some gov`t bureucrats will make those decisions..

all care will be rationed...all because sheeple like yourself think somebody else should pay for their care(and make their most important decisions for them).......i guess it`s probably comforting to be that oblivious...that numb....

god help us...

So you are happy with the cost of health care? I think if we straighten out Health Care we will fix a ot of problems. Now, that does not necessarily mean the Gov't take over. But somebody has to whip these insurance crooks and the doctors and put them in line. I don't know the answer. But are you happy with it?

yes...i`m satified with my healthcare....it costs money....like everything in life....

it would be much easier to pay for if the gov`t stayed out of my wallet...

if i expected to be given everything in life,i wouldn`t live in this country...i`d move to a socialist paradise...

btw...michael moore said cuba`s healthcare is far superior to ours....free to boot......and it`s only a hop skip and a jump away on a homemade raft...

my sister in law lives in Germany

she told me they had free dentist care

You have to go 2 times a year for cleaning and checking your teeth. As long as you go for the preventative maintenance, everything is free.

If you do not show up 2 x a year, and you have a root canal or other problems, they charge you like a raging bull in a china shop.

I dont see why anyone would be against this.
