yes...i`m satified with my healthcare....it costs money....like everything in life....

it would be much easier to pay for if the gov`t stayed out of my wallet...

if i expected to be given everything in life,i wouldn`t live in this country...i`d move to a socialist paradise...

btw...michael moore said cuba`s healthcare is far superior to ours....free to boot......and it`s only a hop skip and a jump away on a homemade raft...

Hey wise guy. Why do you take every argument to the extreme.
i do not want it for free. I want it to be a fair price. If you can't see that the health care costs are way out of line then you really have been blinded by those Neocon blogs you live on. Guess what. If the costs came down then your producers wouldn't have to pay so much for it and could afford to make even more jobs.
Now why don't you swim to Cuba. You would like it there. Only one thought. No gray area. Everything is either right or left. No middle ground for you.

i wonder where canadians(to say nothing of we americans)will go for medical treatment once there is no private sector in health care left anywhere in the world?....

single payer healthcare...no shopping around...no choices.....no more making our OWN judgments about which treatments and procedures(along with our doctors) are necessary....some gov`t bureucrats will make those decisions..

all care will be rationed...all because sheeple like yourself think somebody else should pay for their care(and make their most important decisions for them).......i guess it`s probably comforting to be that oblivious...that numb....

god help us...

Why are you convinced that national healthcare and private sector healthcare have to be mutually exclusive? There isn't room for both?

What makes you think national healthcare and private sector healthcare have to be mutually exclusive Einstein?

i don`t know...if i have private health insurance,do i have to wait in the same line as those with governmental healthcare?....and if i do,why should i pay?.....i could die waiting for treatment whether i`m paying or not......if that`s the case, private insurance can`t survive...

also, who pays for malpractice premiums?...many doctors pay 20% off the top for malpractice premiums...because doctors will certainly will be paid less under nationalized healthcare, how they gonna handle that?...and how are the dems gonna appease the law lobby?......

not to mention issues like lifestyle drugs...viagara etc...who pays for this?...

but it`s gonna work like a charm,right,brainiac?.....this is why public beaches are so much nicer than private ones, public schools are far more efficient than private schools and public housing beats the hell out of private home ownership....

i'm really looking forward to standing in line for hours to get my health-care request form stamped by some public employees union member (unless they're on strike that day, of course) in order to apply for hospitalization....plus, the 3 week processing period should give me time to heal up or die anyway, so that'll cut down on the crowding.....

social security`s in trouble...medicare/medicaid is in trouble...so what does obama do?...put another hole in the bottom of the boat...

You're missing the point. I thought you Laissez-faire types were all about freedom of choice. Public beaches, schools, housing, etc. provide access to those things for those who cannot afford the private alternatives. Private schools, housing, etc. exist for those who can.

Of course there will be many problems to be worked out but why adopt such a defeatist attitude?

shouldn`t the problems be worked out before embarking on another nanny state boondoggle with the potential to sink an already fragile economy?....these are real issues...it`s not about feelings...it`s about thinking it through...the road to hell is paved with good intentions...

read up on issues like "ambulance stacking" in the u.k....or this...http://www.onthefencefilms.com/video/brainsurgery.html

this is what our future holds...

btw...you didn`t answer my question...do i,who PAYS for private healthcare, have to wait in the same line as those with governmental healthcare?....and if so,why would i pay?...

result= governmental monopoly...

there`s little freedom of choice in a socialist state...they want to tell us what temperature to set our thermostat`s at...they want to wipe out the second amendment...want to tell us what healthcare we can have(what procedures we can have AND when we can have them),....they want to tell us WHAT WE we can drive,THEY WANT TO TAX THE DISTANCE WE DRIVE,what lightbulbs we can use, want to keep us from utiliizing our own natural resources(NUCLEAR,CLEAN COAL,DRILLING OFFSHORE AND AT ANWAR,NATURAL GAS,OIL SAND AND SHALE)...............

they want to force people into MANDATORY NATIONAL SERVICE.....

oh yeah...they`re ALL ABOUT freedom of choice...

my sister in law lives in Germany

she told me they had free dentist care

You have to go 2 times a year for cleaning and checking your teeth. As long as you go for the preventative maintenance, everything is free.

If you do not show up 2 x a year, and you have a root canal or other problems, they charge you like a raging bull in a china shop.

I dont see why anyone would be against this.

:mj07: You ever been to Germany? A majority of the people's teeth are black so I assume they are not going for the 2x annual appointments.

Sure is room for both--the prob is the tax payor/responsible folks will be footing the bill for themselve--and the free loaders.

Free healthcare is only free to those who pay no taxes
