Suicide Pool

Hello everybody!

It has been almost a year since we last discussed our picks for our suicide pools. Last year we got into some great discussions and I believe I lasted a few weeks longer than I would have if we hadn't talked. So let's open up the discussion again! Here is my potentials for WEEK 1:

***I try to only play HOME teams and non-divisional games, but sometimes that doesn't work out!****

Baltimore
New Orleans (everyone is gonna be on them!)
Seattle (Divisional Game so probably not)
Arizona (Ditto)
New England (Ditto)

So what is everyone thinking????

Leaning towards Baltimore or New Orleans right now.

I'm running one that has many MJ members in and there still is some time if anyone out wants some action. We currently sit at 106, expect us to get to 125-130. Not a bad payout at $20 per. jr112007 at MSN if interested.

Thoughts....

Probably NO with everyone else in the country, looking at the Saints schedule, week's 1-4-15 are the best plays for them IMO. All things considered it is Detroit, but first game on the road in a dome for a potential rookie QB.

Check that, Cincinnati might be play because Denver is awful and may have serious QB issues.

I like to play home teams as well. Rarely go for the road team. I think the stealth pick of Week 1is Houston.

Houston is always a live pick at home. i love Baltimore the more I look at it!

I like the texans. Like to stay off the obvious ones for weeks 1 and 2.

I also have one going. With plenty of room
25 entry double elim. can only use team once. rebuy for one last loss prior to week 10.
get my email from jack if you want in. Capped at 50 guys. Just for bragging rights mainly usua;;y gets near 2k with rebuys

Made it through week 1 with Seattle.

Right now leaning in descending order.....

Tennessee
10 days off, at home, Houston gave up a ton of rushing yards hence Titans should be able to smash it down their throats. Don't like that it is a divisional game.

Minnesota
2nd game on the road, divisional opponent, but it is against the Lions.

Washington
Just don't trust this team, however St. Louis is awful and travelling from coast to coast for 2nd road game.

GB
Off an emotional win, loss of Urlacher, but Cincy is terrible and should be extremely down after that meltdown of epic proportions.

Thoughts??

Those are good choices jr. I am leaning towards Green Bay and/or Tennessee at the moment.

I am not a big fan of Jim Zorn and Jason Campbell so I may lay off Washington. Minnesota will also host Detroit later on so I may pass on the Vikings.

NO is a tough choice, Eagles defense won't give up easy TD's like the Lions. I think Bree's will see some pressure. Tough call tho. I like Minn over DET and WASH over ST. Louis. GL

I too was about to hit submit with Washington and just thought of jason Campbell throwing a pick six while up 3!

I hae two left out of three with Houston screwing me....

I think I may go Tenn and Frisco or Tenn and GB

Sorry you had to bow out Budhachi, it was a real bloodbath in Survivor Pool lands across the nation this past Sunday.

Green Bay knocked one of my entries out but I am still alive in a few others.

I am looking at Baltimore and Philly for Week 3. Cleveland is simply rotten and the Chiefs is not far behind.

Certainly nothing is easy anymore.

i`m leery about new orleans and the skins....

i`m seriously considering taking buffalo and detroit this week....(yeah,i know...i may be living a little too close to the power lines)...
