Lugs, if I'm wrong here, I will apologize to everyone!
You're an experienced Nascar gambler. You know as well as anyone else that there's a huge difference between PRE-QUALIFYING/PRACTICE win odds and RACE DAY win odds. I'm sure you agree with that.
Madshooter is betting pre-qualifying odds on race day. That is a huge advantage he has over honest posters and it's cheating. This is how he's doing it.
In madshooters Darlington thread he makes his 1st post on Wednesday 5/5/2010.
Locked in
Newman@+3300
Biffle@+2200
Jr@+2200
Gordon@+650
Locked in Nationwide
Hamlin@+500
Kenseth@+875
Biffle@+1600
The same day he adds
Allgaiar@+1600
He says these plays are "locked in" at these Wednesday pre-Q prices but he doesn't tell you how much he wagered on them. He just says locked in.
On Friday 5/7/2010 he posts how much wagered after practice and Q are over.
Hamlin@+500 .20units
Kenseth@+875 .10units
Biffle@+1600 & +2000 .10 units
Allgaiar@+1600 &+2200 .10 units
Hamlin qualified on the pole. His odds on wednesday were +500. His odds on friday were +250 & +325. Huge difference between Pre-Q odds and Race day odds.
On saturday 5/8/2010 he posts after having the advantage of seeing Pract/Qual
Gordon+650 .50units
Hamlin+575 .25u
Biffle+2200 .10u
Newman+3300 .12u
JR+2200 .05u
Truex +4500 .05u
Allmendinger+12500 .02u
Gordon qualified 2nd. His pre-Q price was +650 his Race day price was around +375, +400. Huge difference.
You can not use pre-Q/practice odds that are NO LONGER AVAILABLE on race day. It's cheating and this guy has been doing it for 2 years at least.
It's fine to "lock in" pre-Q picks if you give the amount wagered pre-Q.
His use of "locked in" without the amount wagered is pure bullshit.
I'm an ex-bankroll professional Nascar gambler. I've been exposing Nascar cheaters on the forums since 2003. If you're cheating on Nascar and I see it, then I'm going to say something!
First of all I've never really paid any attention to how much anybody bets on their picks. I don't coat-tail anyones picks price for price, and never even realized he posted amounts wagered after qualifying anyway. I handicap the races myself and use my own picks (so no one to blame but myself in the end).
To be honest I could care less about the amount he wagers I'm just there to see and cheer on other Nascar Gamblers. As 99.9% of forum posters do on such websites as MJ's and the other sites.
Second I do see where your coming from in a sense if someone were to follow play for play and the amount being bet. However since he has been posting over there for many years now no one but you has ever even brought it up. So obviously NO ONE gives a rat's ass what he is doing with his own money, or they would have posted it by now.
It's a free forum to post on and that is what he is doing. He gives his opinion and everyone should just take it for that and leave it alone. No use for people to be wasting their time worrying about how someone else is posting their picks.
What that really tells me that they have too much time on their hands to begin with. Take all this for what it's worth, good luck to you in the future, and do something contructive with your life rather than worry about what is being posted in an open forum.
Regards,
Looselugs
