I was out for a late bike ride yesterday and in some areas there are no path's so you have to ride on the shoulder of the road. If you ever see this, please give space if there is no on-coming traffic....or even just don't buzz the person on the bike! I had 2 different trucks feel like they got close enough to hit me with the side view mirror and there was no traffic in the opposite lane. Probably some fat ass just tryin to be a dick because I'm trying to stay in shape.

Anyone else have this problem ever? It drives me NUTS!

...who's driving the vehicle in question, (if a trucker chances are nil) all drivers depise bicyclists. its a fact. always asking to be treated as if were a car, though the second traffic piles up--there you go...weaving through between the cars. least in my area (boston, surrounding) -always wanting it both ways....

yeah, drivers menatlities are to not share road with bikes -still; ... though are kinda getting better lately (what with most every city promoting going green). GL

I will refrain from such horrible thoughts I would like to do to a biker that doesn't have the GD courtesy to pull over so 50 cars can get by him!

Nick - you're good guy. I like you - but I fucking hate cyclists on the road. Fuck'em. Find a neighborhood.

For the record - a woman who goes to my church asked me to run a public service announcement about watching out for cyclists on the road. She asked me to air it on the TV station I work at. I told her no.







BTW - I am thinking of taking up riding............I will ride on paths and neighborhood only.

Man arrested after arguing with bicycle, police say


A 68-year-old Florida man was arrested after having a loud argument with his bicycle outside a gas station this week, police say.

Richard Bialon was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Stuart, Fla. The arresting officer saw Bialon "yelling at his bicycle" in the parking lot of a Mobil gas station, according to an arrest affidavit.

"Customers were coming to the Mobil and were very disturbed as to the yelling and obscene argument the defendant was having with his bicycle," the affidavit alleges.

Bialon was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication, a misdemeanour.

The thing that fucking pisses me off is these douche bag bikers who go down the middle of the road and then when the hit a red light they fucking go right through it. Fuck you assholes. :fingerc:

In April, my chiropractor was hit by a car while riding his bike....& woke up in the hospital with a few broken bones & a concussion....& was out of work for 4 months....so be careful.

Please don't even get me started on that! We have a bike shop right next door here at work. I mean WTF!! These old dudes wearing these freaking tight.......whatever the phuck they are outfits! I don't need to see that!


Now, the hot blondes that walk by......I'm ok with their outfits. Some of them are like, "DAAAMMMMNNNNN!!!!!"


I'd like to get Nick's perspective on those ridiculously tight outfits that the dudes feel they have to wear. It's just not necessary.
