No I won't. I took it up with the pit boss and when that didn't work I took it up with his boss and when that didn't work I had them call the gambling commission and met with them as soon as they got there about an hour later. They took my statement and told me I would get their decision in the mail in about 30 days. I got their decision in 30 days and they sided with Caesars.

This needs its own thread (or maybe there was one and I missed it).

Now we are all dying to know what happened.o_O

Maybe time for Jack to call the local news station and do an expose?

I'll ty to keep it short.

Every trip I try to hit 2 hard 8's in a row, letting the first payout ride.

I put $50 on hard 8 and it hit so I said to let it ride and the bet is ON on the come.

The shooter made a hard 8 and I went nuts, high fiving everybody and I think I even ran up to the shooter and gave him a hug.

Then the game continued. I said, 'when do I get paid?' the stick said the hard ways are off on the come out. I said I just told you to let it ride and the bet is ON. He said I didn't say that. Okay, HOLD UP! I *DID* SAY THE BET IS ON. I ALWAYS HAVE MY BET UP ON THE COME OUT.

Then it went from there. The pit boss, his boss, the tape, the gambling commission, etc.

WTF would I get all excited, high fiving everybody, hugging the shooter, if my bet was OFF? They saw all that on the tape but said they couldn't hear me say the bet was ON. Well, they sure as hell heard me say to let it ride FFS. Planet Hollywood plays the music so LOUD THAT IT'S ANNOYING AF and that was their excuse. They didn't hear me over the loud music.

I find it very hard to believe that with all the technology the Casinos have they couldn't have a video that cancels out the music so they could clearly hear what you said.

Sounds like bullshit to me, you got hosed.

Plus, unless you are an Oscar winning actor your reaction had to look legit.

And yes that Planet Hollywood music is loud as hell during the night, would suck to be a dealer there, you'd go deaf within a month.

Have no idea if this guy will get paid or not, but the isle casino in Bettendorf is a dump and I’d be surprised if they even had 450k on site to pay him.
There are two other much nicer casinos within 5 miles of the Isle on both sides of the river, but if he wanted to stay incognito he picked the right place as that dump is always empty. I’m surprised it’s still open, to be honest

LMAO at this statement.Kick, you haven't been to Vegas in 20 years, let alone anywhere else. Nice try. Agree with Jack he may not get his money.

Same reason many others do, to avoid being tracked and to avoid eventually being banned for winning. No different from having somebody else place a wager for you, don't want to draw attention to yourself for winning.

Thousands of gamblers do this every single day, just because you want to avoid being tracked doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. As we all know, eventually you get banned for winning, and he wanted to avoid that (and avoid taxes) for as long as possible.

Here's what i don't get. Casinos are in the business of taking bets. Sometimes they win sometimes they lose. But if someone wins alot they get banned. Why? Either you want to take bets or not make up your mind. What they want is to take bets from losing people not winning people. Why not just get out the business if you scared of a person winning money?

But if someone wins alot they get banned

It doesn't even have to be "a lot".....I got banned from BetVictor (a Sportsbook/Casino that makes gazillions of dollars a year) for winning a super low amount of money, it was nothing to them, but hey, you win, you get banned, that is how it is done. Also in 2011, I was staying at Silver Legacy (in Reno, Nevada) during the US Open Tennis tournament, I was betting their tennis lines. One day I went up to the counter, the Sportsbook Manager took me aside and said "You can bet on any sport you like with us, but we will not accept any tennis wagers from you any longer". I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. The amount of money I won was low, but they didn't like the fact I was constantly winning day after day, so I was banned from betting on tennis. So yes even when you win a small amount of money they don't like that, they only like losers.

If somebody like me who bets low and wins low amounts of money can get banned, anybody can. It is total bullshit, but every Casino/Sportsbook in the world does this. Bottom line, if you win and keep on winning, Casinos/Sportsbooks don't want your action.

And in this case....the guy will get paid eventually (most likely it will take years)....and of course he'll be banned for life from any Caesars property, and not because he broke any laws, because he is a winning gambler.
