    Thoughts on Gold...

    (mainly for Lumi) I think precious metals prices will fall. If you are holding PM's as 'crazy insurance', then keep it. If you are holding it as an investment, I think the major risk here is to the downside. When a correction / collapse / panic occurs in equities, it will be a liquidation...

    Looked it up. Was $1.85 / gal when Obama was inaugurated. http://news.consumerreports.org/cars/2009/01/gas-prices-2.html I haven't done the math on # of gallons used per day, etc but that is a huge amount of money that consumers are now paying for gas instead of other stuff.
