well, he ran on a different platform this time than the last one. Not sure if you didn’t pay attention. So far is doing what he said he would do. Will be interesting to see how it turns out. I’m hopeful, but as mentioned, I’m hopeful I at the beginning of every presidency.

I lost my original post where I listed several of the items I buy the most. I’ll try again to find it. On my trip to the grocery store yesterday it did look like basically all items were up at least 10%. I paid $7.19 a pound for hamburger. Yes a family pack would have been cheaper, but I didn’t want that much.

Let’s see what happens to S.S. And medicare. Trump said he was not going to touch them. But who knows what the p o s does.

Government would be reduced drastically with Musk as head of DOGE, borders would be strengthened in terms of number of illegal entries, illegal immigrants will be deported en masse , Russia war was would be settled, tariffs would be used to level playing field with our trade partners, and we would prioritize domestic need based assistance over foreign aid.

Seems like things are going pretty well. Like Jim Jordan said this weekend, it’s not easy reducing government bloat and this task is tall AF. Have there been a couple of my steps? sure. But the people’s will is being served.

Our national debt was 36 trillion on the day that Donald Trump took office in his second term. Our annual debt service is 1 trillion. If we can cut that debt by 10% in three years .......... I’ll be dancing in the streets.
