Anybody know why Ohio is now down to just +1.5?
This is my take on it...several of the draft eligible players for Ohio State ARE playing in the Cotton Bowl. With Devin Brown playing QB for Ohio State, they aren't losing much after Kyle McCord took a hike. I think Ohio State as an underdog is enticing. I know Missouri has a hell of a team. This should be one of the better Bowl games to watch.

My Fresno State Bulldogs and Mikey Keene looked amazing tonight. I will be betting on a lot of the Mountain West teams. They were a really decent conference this year.

Another note on San Jose. Coastal has to travel a minimum of 10 hours by plane to the islands. San Jose is very used to going there and how to handle the aura. Hawaiians load these guys up with Mai Tai's and Pina Coladas, and they treat them to all day Luau's. Coastal won't know what hit them when the game starts. I'd love to know when they are going there. If they are leaving a few days before the game, watch out. San Jose knows what to do there. Most of their players have been there more than once, including a game there this year. San Jose also beat this Fresno team like a drum.

thank you, gentlemen. ended up as a profitable day, even if the independence bowl doesn't end up going over. great day on totals.

few quick notes...

of course ULL went into a prevent defense to allow webb to look like joe montana as they marched right down the field to tie the game. as always, every fucking game that comes down to the last few minutes, i lose.

so glad garbers got into the game. :)

why is it a requirement that every single football coach has no fucking idea how to coach a football game? wilcox at cal... who i think is usually considered a fairly solid coach... cal was gifted an early 7-0 lead. their next drive, they march down until it's 4th and 2 at the 5. and mendoza was just injured and has to sit out a play. TAKE THE FG AND THE 10-0 LEAD, YOU FUCKING IDIOT. is what i was yelling at the tv as they lined up to go for it. of course, they're stopped, and texas tech suddenly has all the momentum and they march right down the field for a td. cal has been outscored 31-7 since that fucking idiotic decision, and it looks like it's about to get worse. how fucking stupid do you have to be? it's like these coaches are allergic to points. same thing in the app st game. their kicker was already 2-for-2 in that shit, and clearly points were going to be at a premium in that game, and yet they turned down not one, but TWO easy fucking field goals. i seriously do not understand why not a single football coach (ok, with the exception of saban) understands the ebb and flow of a football game. it's not rocket science. but these guys are paid millions of dollars, and they are clueless.

ok, rant over.

of course, texas tech just turned it over. great opportunity for points, gone. obviously this game is going to manage to stay under the total after a 38-point first half.

I know what you are saying Smitty, in regard to these idiot coaches forgoing the FGs! Every time I'd like to grab the coach by the collar and yell, even if you make the first down you aren't assured of ANYTHING!! In fact, you may end up NOT getting a chance for the 3 points!

thanks, man. really flattened out after the ohio game, so we'll see how it goes from here. although ULL & ap st should have gone my way. i'm having a much harder time with these games than i have in the past.

plus, i know you're against me on one of my larger plays. i really like jimmy mad.
