I have almost stopped betting NBA but may try these 2. It is so hard to predict which team wants to play.

A year or more ago, I asked Jord23--what the hell happened to him by the way???--why his first half bets were half his full game plays. "Variability" he said within the shorter time frame. To me, it seemed like it would be the opposite. But, as I'm finding out easily now, it really is the opposite of what I thought: "on any give Sunday" one weaker team can beat the better team and in any give quarter, a weak team will outscore the other. Even though the better team will win the game way more times.

There are some easy to track numbers regarding first quarter performance but the real handicapping should involve schedules, revenge, cross country travel and so much more. I'm just using a little of those and mostly the teams' scoring in previous first quarters. Undoubtedly it has been a bad idea to roll nickels at every game...

Well, that was sweep of sorts. 0-1 Record is 21-29. Not a big enough sample size to completely give up. Right?
