What is this "A" player talk? Have the foursome's been made up yet? Is there a list of foursome's? Why is Gary (Dunclock) talking about a list? I don't want to be on no list.

A players are the best golfers in the whole group going to D the worst. i'll try to make teams up as fairly as possible but we have guys that want to play together with their buddy so it's going to be hard. everybody will hear from me by email soon asking what you normally shoot or what your handicap is so i can put the teams together. it doesn't really matter because it's all for fun anyway.
the list is above where i show who is coming.
I know. It just seems like a list had already been made up since someone had said there are only 3 "A" players. Jack, if you don't mind, could I have 2 of them on my team with Wally.

Jack, just make up the teams and leave the whining to the whiners. It's about having a good time and most of us don't care much about how well-balanced the teams end up. I will drink beer, bloody marys, zimas, and wine coolers with whoever I'm paired up with.
that's my plan too. one thing for sure though; my team is finishing last on score but first in FUN :00hour

Well, I played for the first time yesterday and again today with all of the relatives in town. Playing from whites, I go 84 - 98.
I literally caught every break I could have yesterday. No big putts or anything, but my usual lost balls, OBs, and/or water balls were somehow diverted by strange events all day.
They subsequently came back today...
And I was getting off the tee straight yesterday where today was all over the board.
So if you can decipher those numbers, do with them as you please. :shrug:

Jackson, FYI... not playing well this year. Haven't broken 80 yet... stuck in the mid 80s. Handicap is up to a 10 now.
from all these reports we better be teeing off in early am if we're going to finish by dark.
we might have to tee off earlier anyway with the amount of players we have.
i haven't played in over a month and the best i have done up to then was 84.
