On the course!
Whatever Detroit does will be wrong. Play their top guys and lose next week, and it's because they didn't rest.

Rest them and lose next week, and it's because they didn't play.

Win next week and no one cares about tonight.

Detroit will shit on themselves one way or the other. It's what they do.

Public all over lions, meaningless game for playoff hopes. Why not smash the niners?
Aiyuk, Trent, McCaffrey, Greenlaw , Ward and Mason are out for them. And Purdy has regressed back to looking Purdy average. I would grade them in bottom 3rd of the league missing all these guys. Thats crushed them on both sides of the ball. Purdy has something to prove and he got some good yardage against Dolphins last week in another loss, but they are not a good team.

They have way too many injuries on the Niner's end......... Detroit, should rest the off the street Defense that they have, and. Hold Goff to a series of play

The Lions (13-2) can’t really enhance their playoff stature, seeing how they will be either the NFC’s No. 1 or No. 5 seed depending on the outcome of next Sunday night’s game at home against the Minnesota Vikings (14-2). If that regular-season finale (Game No. 272) ends in a draw between the Lions and the Vikings, then the tiebreaker for the NFC North title and No. 1 seed will be based on whether the Lions win or lose this game against the 49ers.

I can't see Detroit losing this game. Everyone is talking this and that about the Lions and their circumstances, but what about the 49ers? How motivated are they going to be? They have a lot of key guys out and nothing to play for. I can't see SF giving full effort tonight with nothing on the line for them.

The niners are literally atrocious and may not care. However, at least historically, full quit on national TV especially is uncommon for NFL teams. They should be able to move it nearly at will on the lions defense regardless of who they throw out there. It's really bad.
