first will be tonight i think its a gift tszyu-420 large play

yes tackie is 24-2 with 15 ko's but he probley dosenot have the power to ko tszyu and he has not ever been in the ring in his caree that hits as hard as tszyu. will be there in about an hour so looking to cash big on it tonight.

tyson+185 if this fight goes past 6 or 7 i am in trouble, but if tyson comes out and tags the cream puff champ one time ,you will see lewis runall night and fight scaired, yes tyson isnot the boxer or fighter he once was but he is sick and can still take off your head or explode your spleen with 1 punch, and for once in years he is traing hard to not only win this fight but to hurt lewis, just hope there is not a dq.

tyson+185 med size bet.

good luck off to mandalay bay see you on sunday.

I personally think that Tyson must land a monster punch within the first 3 rounds to have a prayer. When's the last time this fool has defeated a decent boxer. The one thing that concerns me is that I believe Vegas will host Tyson again and what better way than Tyson-Lewis II with Tyson holding the titles. I want to believe that the boxing community has more integrity, so my wallet and heart will be pulling for the Brit. On another note, I have an extra pair of lower level tickets (great seats) for sale and will beat a broker's price based on my research. Check the general posts threads for more info or email me if interested.

Go Tigers!!--DAK

On the lake. Setting hooks!
even thou i can't stand tyson. i hope he wins. my reasons? first he is an american. and i'd like the heavyweight title back in americans hands. second, i believe there are more exciting fights in the future if tyson wins rather than lewis. example: the #1 fight i'd like to see. Tyson vs David Tua. This couldn't miss being a great fight. #2, Tyson vs Holyfield III. say want you want about Holyfield being washed up. but put him and Tyson in the ring again. and it would be a very competive fight.

hard to pick a winner in the lewis fight for me. tyson has a very good chin. he has never been took out with one punch. it's always took rounds and rounds of punishment to take him out. lewis on the other hand has been took out with one punch twice. and by guys thats only dream of punching as hard as tyson. trust me, lewis has this in the back of his mind. i believe lewis could use his reach and height and movement. and win a decision. and don't be suprised if after tasting a little of tysons power in the first couple rounds. that lewis decides to run all night. just my thoughts.

Tyson will not win on a decision, so if you like him in this fight, you might as well bet on a win by KO. Personally, I think Lewis will make this a statement fight (like Ruddock, Golata, and Grant) and stop Tyson inside 5 rounds. At this point in his career, I don't think Tyson could handle David Tua much less Lewis. It could get interesting if it gets dirty, but my money is on Lennox.

tyson(much like holifield)has seen his time come and go....unfortunately,the books are on this fact like flies on osama`s rotting corpse(wishful thinking)....praying that lot`s of tyson and holifield retro wagerers can knock these odds back a bit.....potential large wagers on rahman and lewis.....

250-pound Cotton picked to ref Tyson/Lewis bout
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Tennessee boxing officials announced this week that New Jersey veteran referee Eddie Cotton will stand in the middle of the ring between Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson when the two face off for the heavyweight title at The Pyramid in Memphis on June 8.

Cotton, who stands at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, is relatively unknown outside of New Jersey, but has 19 world title fights to his credit in 10 years of experience as a referee.

Cotton was picked over Las Vegas referee Joe Cortez, largely because of his size. Cotton spent eight years separating inmates from each other in New Jersey prison rings, and believes his stature will keep Lewis and the unpredictable Tyson in line as well.

word to the wise boxing is about money and money runs boxing.

tyson wins very big rematch and vegas already said they would get it done this time with the nv ath. com.

if he doesnot he will never get another shot at lewis. then you have a ppv again major bucks and yes you right you would then have a set up for the 3rd and last fight which would also be in vegas and right again ppv,all the time this is going on boxing is getting a very big chunk of change, thats how they make there money. i have said it at least 10 times on here,if its good for boxings pocket thats who will win most of the time.

very shady run sport this i do know for a fact. so just remember what i said.

while all this is going on chris byrd is getting the shaft,he is my choice for the best hv. wt. fighter out there when it comes to the complete fighter.

fletch-how you doin`?

fletch-how you doin`?

just for informational purposes...wladimir klitschko handled byrd easily and his brother vitali was winning easily until a phantom shoulder injury forced him to quit vs byrd(in all fairness, byrd was turning the tide vs vitali when the"injury" occurred)...if byrd was a legit sized heavyweight he would be virtually impossible to beat, but his size makes it difficult to beat very talented, big heavyweights....his other loss was vs jailbird ike ibeabuchi(may be the best hvywt around-we`ll never know)....i`m on record as liking lewis here and i don`t believe lewis will jeopardize his legacy for a rematch vs tyson...i genuinely believe he hates tyson(as he hated rahman)and is looking to do some serious damage to mike...i look for lennox to be cautious(ala tua fight) early and punish mike as the fight winds down...the problem?if the fight goes past 3 or 4 rounds and mike is looking badly,he`ll most assuredly do something to get himself disqualified in an attempt to cloud the issue, provide an excuse and save some face....the moneymaker is the holifield-rahman fight...rahman literally hand-picked holifield(nixed a chance to avenge his loss to tua-seeing holifield as the path of least resistance)...holifield is totally shot(i`m sorry to say)...rahman`s chin makes it a little scary, but, after seeing ruiz(ruiz is a joke)frustrate evander twice, rahman wins this easily...you have a bigger man.much younger who is probably the better puncher vs a guy who`s reflexes are gone and can only fight in very short spurts.....i only hope evander doesn`t get hurt...recall rahman easily beating tua and the russian hvywt(whose name escapes me)until getting caught late...won`t happen here....i honestly think evander may get beaten badly and stopped...he`s a very old and shopworn 39....to many wars....gl

i don't think holifield stands a chance and you are right about him getting hurt, just listen to his speech he is already showen effects of being punch drunk, there is only one way to go in this fight.

byrd has tried to get bigger but just can't seem to do it but like i said as a complete boxer i put him up at the top.he gets guys to miss and works the ring great, and throws good off the jab,but like you said the size hurts and with the size comes a avg ko puch, infact he has to work the other fighter to get the ko that is the only draw back i have with him, really doesnot have the 1 punch power.

is truly the best "boxer"in the heavyweight division...i think i heard someone describe him as "the heavyweight pernell whitaker".....a very valid comparison....whoever reads this and enjoyed the gatti-ward fight, take time to tape the showtime bout saturday night(while you`re watching rahman beat holifield)with brit ricky hatton vs irishman eamon mcghee...this is a guaranteed war with 2 rough, face first fighters who don`t like one another one bit....hatton is a relentless body puncher and mcghee is a warrior with a granite chin...i suspect it won`t go the distance(like hatton).....thes guys hate each other(as many brits and irishmen do)....could be another classic while it lasts.gl.

for mr.

for mr.

eddie cotton was a former light heavyweight contender back in the 50`s and 60`s ...he fought archie moore, jose torres and bob foster....he was a decent pro....i believe he lost a championship bout to torres(if anybody`s interested)....looking forward to june 22nd rematch of barrera-morales....another absolute war in which the animosity is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

I have only seen Lewis get tagged good twice. He did not take either one very good. Tyson going to tag him good more then once in this fight. If nothing else once in side he will bring his head streight up and that will hurt that jaw of Lewis. As Fletch said I hope no dq.
Fletch over/under 6.5 Under? I like you think Tyson throws it all in first 5/6 rounds.

I am fairly surprised by the certain amount of respect Lennox is commanding in this thread!

Personally I think Lennox is one of the best heavyweights ever...ok not up there with Ali, but certainly very good! Tyson in contrast should not be allowed in the ring, never mind winning in one! I personally cant see him having a prayer in this fight. Lennox has looked very good over the last couple of years.....put aside Rahman where he completely underestimated his opponent, and was caught by a thunder punch. However he came out like a true pro and duly destroyed him second time around.

This will not happen with Tyson, and Lennox will probably take Tyson past 6 rounds, knock him out, or settle for a easy points victory!! I favour the latter!

As for David Tua who was mentioned in this thread a little earlier, I cannot believe he is being mentioned in the same breath as these guys. Lennox made him look like a fool, completely outboxing him, and once again settling for a very simple points victory!

I favour Lennox to keep the crown where it belongs....here in the UK!!! ;) :D :thefinger However, as Fletcher said boxing is a funny old game and I will not be gambling on such a short price, which makes me forgive you for all wanting to back Tyson at what seems to be an attractive price!!

my mention of tua was in reference to the way lewis fought against him...safely......lewis has been k.o.`ed twice in his career via one punch knock-outs...with that said,i still don`t think tyson has a prayer and i also don`t think lewis will be foolish enough to stand in and trade with mike(tyson`s only chance to win is to get lewis into exchanges)......as for tua not being mentioned in the same breath as tyson,i think at this point in their careers, tua knock`s out mike if they fight(and they won`t,mike`s not interested).....if lewis steps in and trades with mike,it would be a stupid strategy(but i`d love to see it).lewis by decision or disqualification.....p.s...lewis AND rahman should win their fights easily over these 2 geriatric`s IF and i mean IF they fight smart, cautious fights....if they rumble, their suspect whiskers could betray them...and believe me,their handlers know this.gl.
