Hey Jack is there any way you can turn off the counter on the home page when it gets close, like within 500 or so. That way it can be completely random rather than 300 of us sitting by our computers watching the post total click up and race for that last post.

I'll give you guys some *inside information* on this contest from Mr. Murphy himself.
His law states that the 1,000,000 post will occur next thursday, december 9, sometime between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00a.m.
this is when i will have no internet access because comcast will be here switching over my phone lines, installing cable TV (bye bye Sunday Ticket ) and hooking up my WOOOOO HOOOOO FINALLY high speed internet service.
