If you request a payout check by regular mail, don't hold your breath. Takes forever. Really sucks.

If you get a POB, the PO will stop delivering to your street address unless you sign a form. And it will NOT forward your street mail. Will hold it for ten days then kick it back to sender.

Fedex from 5dimes is usually great. Never not used it.

Wsex "express" service or whatever is getting worse. Took 3 weeks to get that. They had to refund the 50 bucks they charged me.

Glad you posted Frank. Here's my history w 5d.

I'd been paid several times via Fedex, always with no problem. Recently 5d changed its terms: you can only wdraw via Fedex amounts between 1001 and 3000. I tried to withdraw several hundred a couple months ago by paper check. It didn't arrive in 3-5 days. Called twice, nothing for a month.

My guess was that the PO had messed it up. Went in and talked to them, turns out what I described above about the POB. If you get a POB, where I get almost all of my mail, they STOP delivering to your street address unless you specifically sign a form requesting it. And they do NOT forward your street-address mail to your POB, the lazy bastards. So I figured that was where the check got hung up, and the PO had returned it to sender after 10 days, which is their policy.

I told 5d to cancel the payout, whcih they did. A month later, after verifying the paper check had not been cashed, they recredited the payout amount to my account.

So, in my case it was never PROVED what happened, simply assumed. After reading your story, I wonder.

My conclusion is, I would never again take a payout from 5dimes except by Fedex, where there is tracking involved. Now, why 5d has the goofy policy of only allowing payments 1k-3k, I have no idea.

Good luck, I hope your problem gets solved, and please post here how it turns out.

BTW, you do get one free Fedex every 30 days.

5d is a good book, but makes it very hard to find its rules, as they are posted in different places and not obvious, and even contradictory.

weak.....real weak...

if I have read the post to this correctly the scenerio goes like this..

deposit say 2 dimes..pop a few nice plays and meeting the amount of wagers to deposit............... ya still can't get a free FedEx for 900.00 to splurge on Christmas..
again did I miss something..wouldn't be the first time..

$40.00 charge to send me MY MONEY

yet they have no problem holding the 2 dimes to start..

tell me this isn't true..

a paper check...paper check takes several weeks to go from their checkbook to your/our/whatever mailbox..

horseshit..

SOMETHING AMISS..

5Dimes is a 5 star book..

this is hard to believe.

You can get one free fedex every thirty days. But the amount withdrawn, now, must be between 1001 and 3k. And you must request it between 9am and 1pm EST on Mondays. In effect, you really can only get a freepayment about 2x every three months. Also, it is not at all obvious from 5d's rules pages that this free fedex is even possible. You have to scout around or call them. Nothing is mentioned about it on the terms page you get from their withdrawal page.

$40.00 charge to send me MY MONEY

Especially when the upper limit on withdrawal is 3k!

It is true. The question is why they put in their bizarre limits for fedex withdrawals. They just instituted these a few months ago. Before you could take out at least up to 10k, I believe.

They have to work their paper checks through an independent company. So if there's a problem, they have to go to their accounting department to go to the company to run a check... it takes days and weeks to resolve.

There's also the problem that the government lazy monopolists at the PO will not allow Fedex to be sent to POB. And 5d will only allow you one address per your account.

It's messed up, but remember that ultimately the problem is the U.S. government making it difficult to perform what ought to be simple transactions. The books must keep changing front companies and processors, I suspect that is why they make it rough to withdraw anything under 1k.

I took 2 withdrawals in a 30 day period. One by Fed ex, the other regular mail as I did not feel like coughing up $40. I have contacted them 5 times. Yes, FIVE!!!!!!!!! Oh well. we have to look into it they tell me. Only way going foward is by Fed Ex. I guess as I received that in 4 days. My question here is if someone can cut a check and place same in a Fed Ex envelope, why can't they cut a check a just drop it in the mail? Or do they have 2 different intermediary money processors depending on the withdrawal method? It is now officially 30 days, no check, no response. Oh, and did I MENTION THIS SUCKS?

That sucks. Problem is they have to go through third party, the usual bs.

I took a 5dimes withdrawal via fedex this Monday right at 9am EST, and had it in hand mid-day Wednesday. Fastest turnaround ever. Usually it takes another day at least, sometimes til Friday. I'll never take a paper check from them again. Only Fedex or maybe a wire transfer. Have never tried a wt, not sure how the fees work on that. Do banks charge for receiving wire transfers?

Keep us posted, Frank. I'm interested to see how they work it out.

Agreed. My Fed Ex came in 3 days. A wire transfer from sportsbook.com came is 4 days. Paper checks are a nightmare.
