I'd be interested in seeing your facts and figures to back these comments up. What in your mind constitutes a thriving economy? And when you say "the lowest unemployment rate", what are you saying it was, and comparing it to, specifically?

Yes we had to go to war after 9/11 but I don't think that those were Iraqis who flew the planes into the Trade Centers. We were mislead into false beliefs of a quick war and weapons of mass destruction. Bush knew that this would be good time to go after Saddam because he knew the country would be behind him because we were pissed about 9 - 11 and we wanted anyone to pay for it.
It just amazes me that all the REPUBS ever worry about is taxes, yet the REPUBS and Bush have put this country so far in debt?
