So I take it you want a piece of that 'Lee Brown' team wear paw?? lol!
Yep, a couple of softish sides in the 8 this year but they will quickly be eliminated one would think. Can't see any of those teams surprising in the next few weeks.
Counting your chickens early christo. You boys under Eade should be a better outfit next year but much like Richmond, they have that uncanny ability to let their fans down at any stage. That said, I reckon we have a few decent youngsters coming through at windy hill in the likes of Stanton, Monfries, Dyson, and Lovett has been very good for us this year, so I reckon we'll be a little more competitive next year. I will happily throw my name in the hat for the same comp next year if you guys are keen although it sounds like paw is already backing out. Must be a Roos supporter thing= SOFT! As for yourself christo, as long as we make the 8 next year we'll have you boys covered! Thoughts??

LMAO!!

Yeah Bomber....those youngsters will be bringing a cup back to Windy Hill in the not too distant future I'm sure!!:142smilie

If you suckers want another shot next year...I'll be ready for ya. I'm starting to think the Bulldogs could "do a Tigers" in '06......and my Roos already own the Bombers!! :brows:

Now head back to the bar and stop botherin' me........coz I've got an Elimination Final to worry about.

If we don't make the 8 next year I'm giving away football for good!!....And don't ever compare us to that rabble down at Richmond! :cursin: :cursin:

Na, pretty confident about next year...expecting some big things...but having said that, 1-2 injuries and it's all over in such an even comp.

But back onto this year again, as 'pointless' as a couple of these finals are, it's blody tough to pick a winner!
Kanga's stumbling along, but Port rubbish on the road.
Melbourne and Geelong are as bad as each other.
Sydney must be some kind of show in Perth.
I think the Crows are pretty good things @ ~1.66, -6.5. I reckon they'll be my only bet this week.
Getting a good price for a) Saints big win last week..but Brisbane have been playing out time for weks, so I'm not reading too much into it at all. b) The Roo out for Adelaide, but with Burton and Mattner to come back into last weeks team, they look very strong still.
If someone comes along with a -5.5 I'll definately be on it.

Good luck this week guys....You too Pawa (grumble...mumble....grumble.....)

Exactly my thoughts C......
I'll by taking the Crows in some form. Books are over-rating the Brisbane demolition. Also think the Eagles can bounce back.......(lose 2 in a row after two years?? surely not!)
Swans are in form, no doubt....but the Eagles should bounce back.

If I take my Roos it will be Under 39.5. Port's form at the Dome is poor in recent years and they are another team that we own (ay Bomber?).

LOL! Yep, true that you guys have had us covered in recent seasons pawa. Kinda like us against the dogs! Comparing you guys to Richmond was a bit over the top Christo- how their supporters do it year-in, year-out, I dunno. However, glad to see you've found some sack for next years comp pawa! Will happily have a beer at the bar with Christo as we watch your roos spiral out of this years final series. The only problem is, I'm not sure if it's going to be this week or next! lol! No, it would be good to see your boys advance a couple of weeks in and cause an upset along the way. With you guys on the crows as they seem the only logical bet looking at this weeks action.
