Should make for an interesting weekend with all the home town derby's. Does anyone believe Essendon can beat the pies in the biggest home and away game of the year?

Think the game of the week will be hawthorn, providing they are not giving richmond too many points. The tigers only get 5 days break and although they are playing hawthorn (who are slightly better than the 3 other sides they have beaten this year) I believe they will struggle to get up for their fourth on the trot. This is my pre-line opinion for the week.
Year to date: 11-9 (55%) +6 units (2x 2 point plays)

the land of confusion
Season to date: 7 - 4 +9.5u

Guarantee that my Kangaroos rebound back and knock off Carlton on Saturday night. Pagan 'the traitor' now coaching the Blues. Yeh, well we'll see about that you mother funcker. He may have the 'low down' on us from his last 10 years here, but he doesn't have the cattle to do anything to exploit the knowledge!!
Blues to go down in a screaming heap ;)
Kangaroos -10.5 versus Carlton @ $1.90 2 Units
**note to all local viewers.....Look for me @ this game behind the point post at the Kangaroos' end with my Anti-Pagan banner!!! I'm going to 'spray' him all night!! :fingerc:

The other game that I really like is Sunday's St.Kilda / Geelong clash. What can ya say about the Saints? They can't play to save themselves and their coach shouldn't be in charge of an Under 12's squad!!! :D
Geelong straight up versus St.Kilda @ $1.90 2 Units

Now after last weeks successful parlay, I think I'll dabble with a couple more.

Hawthorn / Kangaroos / Port / Geelong / West Coast @ $20 1/2 Unit

Kangaroos / Geelong / West Coast @ $5.10 2 Units

Good luck chaps

............and GO YOU ROOS......STICK IT UP THOSE FLAMIN' MONGREL BLUES........RRRRAAAAAAARRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!:D

"In a word, No"- Pawa. Well as much of a gamble as it may have been, I took my team, the mighty dons, and they came through with the goods. Finally they put up a solid performance against a quality team and to do it in the biggest home and away game of the year.
Round 5 picks: Hawthorn -4.5
West Coast -1.5
Geelong pk
Good luck to all this week.

The "jpblack34" post was actually from me. Forgot to change user name. Looking forward to Everitt and the hawks having a big game today and leading us to the bank!. Pawa, do you not really like this game?

jp / bomber (I twigged after your earlier post!)

System indicators point towards Richmond, but not enough to lock them in as a play. On the other side you've got the 'dome theory' working against the Tigers along with the chances of them winning 4 straight!!??...
So I'll look elsewhere....

rich/haw

The fact that today is a fine,sunny,'hot'(24C) day,is of great advantage to HAWTHORN
The 'telsta' legs of Richmond will really struggle if Hawthorn play smart and open the game up.Richmond will want a tight game but if Schwab uses his brains then Hawthorn should win

PLAY HAWTHORN TO WIN 5 UNITS @ 1.75

Carlton win by 9 points.

Carlton (18.14.122) def. Kangaroos (16.17.113)

Very close game all the way and the Blues looking good under ex-Roos coach, Denis Pagan.
