the land of confusion
the Blues looking good under ex-Roos coach, Denis Pagan.

Ya gotta be friggin kiddin me??

Worst game I've seen in years by 2 of the worst teams going around. Either team would have been hammered tonight by Port Melbourne Reserves!!!
I'm ashamed to be a Kangaroos member :(
Blues are bottom 3 and my lot won't be much further up the ladder...........

:nooo:

Too pissed off to tally

Sorry buddy. I meant Carlton seem to more competetive this season under Pagan. They stuck with Port for the first half last week and in my book thats pretty impressive for a team that were deserved wooden spooners last season. I actually watched the Port V Crows match which had a great 1st half but a dull 2nd half.

Hawthorn game was unbelievable. Counting my money half-way through the second term only to sit back and watch them sit on the ground for the rest of the game. Pissed! Need a big sunday to regain some respectability this week.

Forget Betfair. The market is practically non-existant since they banned Australian punters from betting in-running over the internet. :nono: I really hope this will change ASAP.

Can anyone in Brisbane confirm thats its raining cats and dogs at the Gabba today? Im 99% sure thats why the line is moving.

I'm not in Brissy, but seeing plenty of rain on the radar in the area.

Thing is, the wetter it is, the less chance there is of these modern day Doggies to keep it close.

Brisbane MUCH more physical and much more capable of getting the ball in tight. Pretty much comes down to Black, Voss, Power, Akermanis and Power v. Scotty West and Mitch Hahn.

Will be watching and hoping for the 'miracle', but won't happen.

Taken West Coast to get more possessions than Freo @ 1.90.

Anyone planning on watching the WC/Freo game (it's on Fox) for HT, 3/4 time advice??

Normally I would, but will watch the Dogs, being the sadist I am

JD, occassional light rain in the forecast for the night. Should keep the dogs in it a little longer but the result is still headed in same direction. Thinking about taking the lions if the line continues to drop.

Pre-game on now..........looks darkish, but no rain falling......

...Dogs been there since Thursday and has rained every day, so ground will be soft, and possibly slippery.

I think the -40ish is about spot on.

Brisbane 1.20 -24.5 @ Australian Sportsbook. Still pretty skinny but better than 1.06!! :D

I just saw the preview on the footy show. No rain at the moment but there was heavy rain this morning with the possibility of more light rain during the match. Is also overcast and very humid whiuch should favour the Lions.

Season to date: 7 - 7 +5 u

Worst weekend for the year. Looks like alot of us are getting burnt!!
My Roos cost me 3 seperate bets. You pay the price when your 'banker' crashes and burns.

I'm confident of Geelong holding up and the mech system is gaining speed.

It's been a funny old round of games so far!!

You're right about this weekends games. Don't think there are too many of us in the black for the week.
Season to date: 12-11 = + 4u.
Thinking about the lions inside 39 points. Sounds like it is going to rain for a good part of the night which should keep it a little closer.

JD, we need some rain by the look of it, and alot of it. Can't see the dogs sparking a remarkable comeback like the tigers yesterday. The reason for that; we have them!

The Dogs have actually played better since I last posted. Lions seemed to drop off a bit too. If The Dogs can handle the ball a little better in the 2nd half the should be able to keep it close.

grr.. the Dogs have had so many chances to keep the game close but are just turning the ball over in their forward 50 even when their not under pressure. I can believe how many times in the 3rd 1/4 they have passed it straight to a Lion!
