the land of confusion
West Coast 136 thumped Richmond 90 :D

Sydney 81 held on over Carlton 74 :em71:

I should turn off games at 1/4 time more often!! Carlton look pathetic early and looked like getting hammered. When I flick it back over its the mid 3rd qtr and they have just drawn level!! A tense last qtr where Carlton refused to "man up" and Sydney just kept possession of the footy got the sweats going!! Carlton just hanging on for the cover.

Mech = 1-0 Hybrid = 1-1

Bank back to a smidge over 100% going into Sunday's games.

"By simple logic, collingwood should win by exactly 156 on Monday!" LMFAO! Hey C, you gotta take it easy on these gold coast supporters mate. We all know expansion teams take a while to find their feet! :142smilie
Yeh, nice cover by carlton last night also! :mj13:

Down 6 at halftime, Western explodes to begin the third quarter and takes the lead. Looks like the coach made quite a speech at halftime.

:director:

Let's hope they can put some distance between Essendon.

Bulldogs win by 11. I had them at 11.5.

Crows also cost me a win but at least they won outright.

0-2 is not a good result and now relying on Collingwood for a victory this weekend.

I hope IS you didn't take that extra point on the Bulldogs. I'm annoyed with the loss but when you lost with the choice you had it would be even worse.

I wonder how common it is for matches to fall within a point of the line. Twice this weekend it has with West Coast and the Bulldogs.

Western Bulldogs 104 trip over Essendon 93

This was a pathetic 11pt win by a team that should have won by 20+

2 minutes to go and Essendon cough up the ball to Murphy, 15 meters out from goal. What does this potato do?....kicks it into the goal post for a point!!! :mj17:

1 minute to go and the Bulldogs come streaming down the ground with an open chance to kick the covering goal........so what do they do this time? Kick it backwards to eat up the clock!!! :mj16:

This was a bad beat!!! The Hybrid got it right....while the friggin bulldogs funked up the script!!

Damned MOFOS!! :mj01:

Sexlexia...
Not to mention Essendon's last goal was a blatently bad unpiring decision, in which he over-ruled an Essendon out on the full (would have been the Bulldogs ball) and paid one of the softest free-kicks ever seen to the Monfries (or Stanton?)...who, in fairness, kicked a very good goal...but still, should never have had it...

...then, with 2 minutes to go, Smith has a set shot for goal, 30m out for the Dogs and misses the lot!!...That should have been our cover for the -11.5 at least....but yeah, Murphy's miss was an absolute shocker for all involved here. :cursin:

This question is for any Aussie Rules Punters,

Which is a better bet?
Price
Western Bulldogs -11.5 1.97

Western Bulldogs -10.5 1.91

It seems the laying the extra point is worth the lower price.

IS

A HORRIBLE loss.

It looks like we were hosed on this one.

Beast,

I actually split my wager between the two. So I came out even with a little lost vig.
I should have woke up this morning to see a win.

Collingwood 153 belted my Kangaroos 76

UGLY indeed!!

I stayed on at the ground after the game and tried to numb the embarrassing pain of it all at the bar.

What a disgraceful performance. :nooo:

Mech = 1-1 Hybrid = 1-2 2-3 overall

Bank at 81.17%

A shitty start for the systems.

On to next week.....
