Alabama is a rock of a team. When I looked at all the QBs that have played them this year and then I see Connor Cook step in to play, I was worried for his safety. Cook was totally uncomfortable the entire game. Mich St had no run game . You dont run up the middle on Alabama and live to talk about it much. And they couldnt get outside either !
Word out to Kirby Smart for his defensive schemes. Can't wait for him to come to Ga.
Alabama wins without using Derrick Henry very much. Maybe saving the best for last.
Coker played like a legit NFL prospect. Hard to believe that he was benched early in the season and is now in this situation of being #1 team Nat Champ. It shows you how Saben gets the best out of his important position players.
Ridley is a beast in a small package.
Glad I found the information on the under play. It made it easy. karma bites hard when the numbers are on my side.

He said this is a special defense and they looked the part, shutting out Michigan State, holding the Spartans to 239 yards in offense, forcing two turnovers and constant harassing and beating up MSU quarterback Connor Cook (four sacks). Smart said he was surprised by the shutout: ?We had some really good practices and I thought our kids really played well. (But) I can?t say I expected that to happen.?
The Tide?s defense was so good and so fast that at one point Cook could be seen mouthing the words, ?They?re f?in everywhere.? Cook stated the obvious later: ?Like I said before, you watch the film and the way their defensive line played, the way their linebackers filled the gaps, the way their secondary made plays in the pass game in the back end, everyone was aware of how good of a defense they were.?
