there is no $500 limit. you pay cash when you get it, so you get whatever amount you want on it.

What is the maximum/minimum that I can load onto my All-Access Visa Card?

Maximum and minimum loads may vary according to card type and location. Please call Customer Service at 1-86-NETSPEND (1-866-387-7363) for more details.

I don't think this is true........sorry if I'm wrong, but I've tried and they told me there was a $500 limit in a 24 hour period with netspend at least for reloading it. Maybe there are other pre paid cards out there, but I've been using it for 2 years and they won't let me put more on it in a 24 hour period. And what does paying cash have to do with it?

I was told the same thing, 500 per 24 hours. Just buy a second card if you need to deposit a dime.

i'm not sure then, but mine is a netspend, and i put $1500 on it last week.
looks like bucs may have posted the reason, his post says that amounts vary depending on card types and locations.
wish i would have had a $500 limit, that way i would only lose $500, ha

I have loaded $2,000 on mine (reload) at a check cashing store. Also $500 the next day.

One thing that I heard is when you initially buy the card for $9.95 and load it, you cannot do online transactions until you register the card and have the card in your name sent to you. The dummy card won't work. At least it didn't for me and this explanation made sense.

I lost my card before, got a dummy card until I got the new one. It works for online transactions. It worked when I originally got my card as well. The big difference is that you don't have an online page on netspend setup yet. You can still do your transactions.

Lets just get this mapped out and easy for everyone to understand.

#1-Maximum and minimum loads may vary according to card type and location. Please call Customer Service at 1-86-NETSPEND (1-866-387-7363) for more details.
#2-Initial cost is $9.95
#3-Reload pack fee is $4.95-Must wait 30mins after purchase to do the activation(aka reload).
#4-Reload fee(different because you goto a check cashing place and load your card, you don't purchase a reload pack)-$2
#5-Online transaction fee(aka ATM transaction)-$1

Sometimes you might get a glitch or error when doing your online deposit, so just call and do the deposit then and you'll have no problems.

I have loaded $1000 onto my card on more than one occasion. From NetSpends FAQ on their website:
