Yes, the 2nd best show on tv, maybe the 2nd best in the history of television makes its awaited debut next tuesday. 3 weeks of bad auditions then they get to the 24 and finally the markets opening which is the whole point. I'd advise anyone to have accounts at pinnacle for last longers and wsex for the market and last longers as well. bookmaker actually had some interesting props and odds last year as well.
all you homo haters who just bet football cause its manly, believe me you are missing out on a ton of dough. but you're probably too busy rooting on the boys, wearing the romo jersey, sipping the cognac, and sleeping with the cousin to care.
Heres a link to the top 50 finalists:
http://www.3ne.com/list-of-top-50-american-idol-contestants-leaked/
at the bottom is the list of those that made it to at least past the first round. theres links to their photos for most of them and their my space pages with samples of their music and such.
i've looked at the pictures, there are some hotties. i think they are going for looks more than singing after last years disaster at least to start.
this year they are scrapping a lot of the individual singers theme nights and making them more broader, such as 70s night instead of just diana ross night. who the fck likes diana ross anyway?
sorry kniefl.
i've also heard that they will be allowed to play a guitar if they play one, but that for now is just speculation.
heres photos of some of the chicks....i'm not posting guys.....sorry again lfienk
wtf?
YUM!!
also of note, chris slighs brother also made at least the top 50....the christian dude with the big hair, witty comebacks, and overall bad attitude from last year.
idol is a money making machine.....theres too much information and resources out there not to make money at it. don't let your homophobe get in the way.
as for idol itself, in the 6 years, it has produced three bonafied superstars.....carrie underwood, kelly clarkson, and chris daughtry. it's also had some marginal successes in clay aiken and fantasia and diana degarmo are doing okay on broadway. it's also had some major disasters in reuben studdard and taylor hicks who were both recently dropped from their record label.
let's see what season 7 produces and hopefully make some good dough.
will update this thread later as more information becomes available and the markets begin to open.
