Silly to say there is no government aid to NC. That type of hyperbole just stirs people up and divides. I do feel Ukraine aid is excessive given that Mayorkas just stated FEMA is almost tapped out. I do miss the DJT years without all this global unrest. Ironically, one of the main reasons I didn’t want him to win the 2016 nomination was I thought he would be a war monger. Proved me wrong and then some.
Even though I loathe war—even proxy war for us like this one—, I am ok with supporting our allies particularly given we knew that Putin would invade if we continued to move towards adding Ukraine to NATO. In my opinion, would’ve been best to keep Ukraine as an ally, but not proceed down the path of adding them to NATO in effort to avoid this mess. That POS Putin was pretty clear….he will invade if we go forth. Since we were in it from the beginning, it would be outrageous to withdraw funding altogether.
