one good thing for obama....he won rhode island(1/3 of a delegate,i believe)....michigan and florida votes will probably be a do-over....throwing this thing into a total mess...

as the rethuglicans continue to mine the dirt that hill and millhouse obama will continue to dig up on one another over the next few months...

there will probably be lawsuits in texas over the vote totals.....

dems eating their own...

is this the beginning of the end of the obama bandwagon?......are the wheel's coming off? ...

are the wheel's coming off?......

Simple question, my friend. How many Long Islands have you downed in watching the democratic excitement tonight?!?

Sheesh...perhaps you can join me tomorrow night and watch something really important...the women of American Idol competing to make the final 12!

Looks like Hillary is performing well in the states she was supposed to...and worked hard in...and had solid in-state networks, unlike Obama.

Have not watched MSNBC tonight...switched on CNN for the "Blitzer" take...may switch around.

Looks like my instincts were right heading into tonight...Hillary still lives, because of the efforts and focus she put in these two big states. People are looking much closer now, and she still stands up well comparatively to the "chosen one."

We'll see you tomorrow afternoon, my drunken wease...:thefinger

She's Baaaaaack:

Morning Weasel--Appreciate your MSNBC report--feel as if I was there.
Watched FOX for a while until they said Obama had got judge to extend polls till 9 in the "disenfranchisied areas" ;)Then knew it be late getting results
Got up at 2am to check results and watch FOX for while before heading to work.
Saw lots of opinions on hiliary turn around
--from press finally getting embarrassed by SNL spoofs on their Omama softballing and jumping on him yesterday--and him doing an exit stage left--
-Nafta fiasco
-Red phone ad
--Rush telling Rebs to vote for Hiliary
--among others.

Personally believe it was combination--key was getting him off soapbox peaching we can do it--and asking do what?

--on Rush and others I am in disagreement that H would be easiest to beat in national election--I think Obama is every bit if not more polarizing figure--despite what polls say.
With H rebs have no shot at NY and remote shot in CA. With Obama CA is in play and NY a possiilty as he might lose H backers on revenge factor and large Jewish population there which he only won a small 17% in primary won't be in his favor.

Regardless of which win--we are assured of at least 45 more days of inner party chaos and flame throwing. :)

Wayne, to your last paragraph, I think this may really come into play if Hillary sticks with it to the end - which I expect her to if she makes a strong showing in Pennsylvania, which she should. One point made last night...Obama is winning the states that Dems won't win anyway, and Hillary is strong in the bigger important states that they either will or would swing the election to the Dems.

The delegate issue, although important, can switch if there is an open convention. I still think the strongest ticket might be Hillary on top of Obama (pardon the ugly reference), to ensure those big states, and pull in solid support from Obama supporters - or most of them.

appreciate all my dem friends for taking the thread as intended(i was just funning....trying to garner a laugh or two)....

i do agree with dtb,though.....i really do believe that hillary may well be the tougher nut to crack if she gets the nomination....many don`t agree with me...that`s why you saw so many republicans voting in the open primaries for hillary....mccain is a foregone conclusion so they voted to derail the obama express....

trying to counter all those hippy-fied granola eating socialists with master's degrees, no children and 2 afghan hounds that usually vote obama 9 to 1........

gotta give those republicans a little credit...for a change, they`re finally being proactive,be it right or wrong......maybe they`re finally getting it...

i`m having fun now, because honestly,i don`t like our chances all that much unless the democratic convention explodes into some manner of civil war...

if it makes you guys feel better,i went through hell when i realized that mccain was gonna be our nominee...the boils, the rashes, and the seizures have thankfully abated...but,i still have scars....i`ve had an upset stomach since romney and rudy took the pipe....

Very good point Chad--I think Obama might have shot at a few red states but small electorials.
