And the fourth #1 seed could be. . .

Who are you thinking? My thoughts are LSU, Nova, UCONN, BAMA, OKST, GONZ, MICH ST, GTECH...teams good but probably be in the 4-5 range or lower. Maybe OKST and/or BAMA will pull a 3 seed. Teams like Wisc, Pitt, or BC could pose match-up problems because of their methodical/physical play. ALthough the last three could lose to anyone, it is a roll of the dice game to game with them. Should be fun nonetheless.

Wake was playing without their best player...also look at wake's record against the top 100- i think its like 19-3 or something ridiculous like that...i wouldnt count them out yet, especially if kansas or kentucky falls...i think arizona is solid but they dont have the credentials and wake beat them heads up on a neutral court if it ever comes down to it

Ok State is definitely not a 4 seed. I think they win the Big 12 and come out with either a 1 or a 2. If not, they get a 3. G Tech will be a 6 at the highest.

I agree that OKST could or should possibly get higher. The mock bracket in today's USA Today had them as a 4, obviously depends on what they do from here on out. Win the BIG 12 and maybe slide into a 2 or 3 seed.

Good point about Wake beating Arizona heads up on a neutral court. . . I just wonder if the committee really will put them #1. Sure they played without Paul but a team deserving of a #1 seed should still not lose their conference opener IMO

Given how Arizona walked past their first two games and Washington is struggling, I wouldn't be surprised to see Vegas take a stand and favor Arizona by 3. Should be an interesting line if Washington beats Stanford

ADOT, no way buddy. . . how would they be favored? Arizona won the Pac-10 regular season. . . #8 in the country to #14 for Washington. . .

Also factor in the road to the championship game. . . Arizona has one player over 30 minutes played in a tournament game. . . Washington has several.

I think ARIZONA will be favored by 3'. i could be wrong ..but if WASH is favored a deuce, i will be allover ARIZONA.

Don't forget Washington will be wheeling back from an 11:30 + P.M. start last nite to a 6:00 P.M. start Saturday...

That can't help Washington. Wash squeaked by two games also.

and i suspect Nickelback is on the money if Arizona knocks off Wash.

Arizona is in the perfect spot here to either grab a #1 seed or a high #2 seed outside of North Carolina's or Illinois' bracket. . . if they don't seize the moment against Washington then I can't see them performing well in the big dance so its almost all or nothing here.

Can debate the merits but Arizona isnt going to be a 1. They are still around 8 RPI with a loss to Wake. I just cant see them jumping all of those teams, even if they do lose. They will get a 2.

all wasted time.washington comes out and looks like champs sat. afternoon, and wins this tourney.wash has there number and can play just enough d to beat them again.imo they have outplayed these pussy cats 5 times in a row.think they got 4 wins out of the 5 with lone loss in there colapse in first matchup this year.huskies tommorow, and with a probable 2 seed will go very deep in the dance.wont let a uab type get them in a track meet in early round like last year.contrary to popular opinion they can play half court game when need be.the key is there great leadership in nate and co.huskies by 10 tommorow.

In that lone loss to Arizona.........the Cats shot 40 free throws to Washington 21...........Cats outscored the Huskies 38 to 15 at the line and won by 9......If the game is called rather even I dont know if the Cats are going to run away with this........although I do agree the Huskies have had a rather taxing last 2 weeks........

Arizona WILLwin tomorrow....it will come down to the last 10 mins and the "fresher" team will win...az starters have played the equivalant of 1.25 games while uw starters have played 2 full games plus OT.

However...I dont think Arizona will get a #1 seed......AND I LOVE IT.

Give the Cats a #2 seed after winning the pac-10 tourney and put a chip on their shoulder with something to prove heading into next week.....i'll take my chances and look for a final four run.

btw-staples was half empty......what a joke the la sports fans are.
