The Fed lived up to his name as an 'untouchables' in this one. I felt bad for Arod because he played all out in one of his best performances and it wasn't nearly good enough. That has to be so frustrating. The way The Fed can slip into a higher gear when needed makes me wonder how this guy ever loses. I guess Nads will show us again in the French.

I hope you managed to hedge some Petey......the best price Fed hit was 1.44.

I revise my earlier statement. Federer is MORE than a country mile better than Roddick, especially where it most counts: between the ears.

I for one, am NOT sick of watching Federer win. Enjoy it! He might be the greatest anyone has ever been at a particular sport. We should all feel blessed to have seen Michael Jordan, Roger Federer, and Tiger Woods absolutely beautiful play. Would you get sick of seeing a rainbow? A sunset? A shooting star? We need to enjoy this fleeting moments of beauty. They are what make life living. Federer's performances on anything other than clay are just as beautiful as these.

Alb,
I watched it come down to -465, couldn't pull the trigger... Was waiting for the Roddick break in the 3rd that never happened. That game where Fed went down 0-40 and came back to win -- what if, what if, what if. Needless to say, that was Roddick's chance. What I would have won on Fed wouldn't have amounted to too much anyways, in comparison. :shrug: :shrug: :shrug: I ended up winning a bit on Fed not 3-0 and fed 3-1, so that made everything ok. Its too bad I didn't hop on Fed earlier in the tourney, knowing that I had Rod at 45-1... oh well. It is tough when yyoyu've got someone as dominant as Fed -- and the according odds. Cheers

One more thing Alb, I just realized you said 1.44... that must have been where, at bet365, and after roddick had 3 break points? I was playing over at pinny -- I don't think bet365 would have allowed me a bet the size of which I would have needed to make -- they are always screwing with the limits -- pinny only had the lines up during change overs and the lowest they got were -465 which is more like 1.25.

petey;

I was keeping a watch on Betfair. You can see how much gets traded and at what price. You're right; it was at the triple-break point.
