Got a quote today for an approx. 150 square foot patio. 1300 bucks. I realize prices differ all over the country, but does anyone know if this is a reasonable figure for this job?

thanks in advance, and you now may commence with the Raymond jokes....

Just to order concrete looked like it was $90-110 a cubic yard, and this job looked like it needed less than two.

Concrete is around the $100/cubic ft range if you don't mix it yourself. Figure it out from there but I think you are getting screwed.

He said 3 1/4 cubic yards of concrete @ 95 a yard here--leaves a lot of $$ for labor. Its going to take a few hours of moving dirt to prep the area and he said he has a 4 man crew.
I will have a couple of other concrete guys come in and give me estimates too--he is a friend of my neighbor and he had heard from him that I was thinking of doing a patio so he stopped over and took a look then called later with the 1300 dollar figure. Thought it seemed a bit high, though....
