I have been doing concrete work for 26 years. I have to agree w/ Raymond, that this price isn't out line. It is not going to take 3.5 yards though, and if it takes them 2 hours to get a 150 sq. ft. patio ready, he needs a new operator. If it takes 4 guys to do this, he ain't gonna make shit on it either. Small jobs like this are a pain in the ass because he could probably get a patio twice this size ready in about the same amount of time as this little one. You have to charge more for these small ones because of this. Once you figure how much time they have in getting it ready to pour, pouring it, and finishing it, coming back the next day and wrecking the forms and backfilling w/ dirt, there is a lot of labor involved. You could probably get somebody cheaper, but you get what you pay for in the concrete biz. Just make sure the contractor specifies what type of concrete (4000 psi) and reinforcing he is gonna use.

Just one of the local church goers trying to push his agenda on everybody else. What the hell are they hurting. Just costing the state tax dollars and making people go to neighboring states to get their fix. I think we outta start taxing theses churches. Seems they are the only ones w/ any money and they are either adding on to existing ones, or building a new one that is as big as a high school.
