Breaking Bad on AMC, SEASON 4 starting July 17. Rent or buy first three seasons.:0074

Best advice in this thread. Get the first three seasons and tape the 4th season as it gets rolling soon. The 3rd season was amazing. I would compare it to Dexter season 4, which is probably the best season of television I can ever remember.

There is some Classic TV for you to see at some point in your yet still very young life.

Consider MASH and All In The Family when time allows.

I still am amazed when my children visit at all the new, really good programs that are out there now days.

If you are seeking Cold Case type intrigue shows then the best ones listed thus far in this order are:

1. Dexter
2. Breaking Bad
3. The Killing

Dexter and Breaking Bad are both very addictive edgy shows with some nice shock value.

The Killing will have to be downloaded using Torrent(Kickserv can break that down for ya).
The Killing Season 1 just ended on AMC and it was a very well done who done it show.

Please don't confuse nostalgia for quality. There were some good shows, but you can't compare those old shows with the likes of Breaking Bad. I'm not a teeny bopper that lacks perspective. I grew up watching the shows of the 80's and that stuff just wasn't that good when compared to some of the stuff that is out there now. Competition is crazy now....it barely existed then.

Dexter is Showtime so be warned the language and material is MUCH different than your typical CBS viewing.
Breaking Bad is AMC so it is somewhere in between those.

Believe it or not I gave up on Game of Thrones after 2 episodes.
Maybe I will get back into it.

And if you need a "24" trailer then you didn't own a tv from 2001 to 2010.

Love storage wars, the place I am at does not get that channel, and I miss watching it, haven't caught swamp people yet:shrug: I have had about 10 people tell me that's something I should watch, lol
