Does anybody know what time the fight starts?

http://www.fightnews.com/...go down the page on the right hand side and the schedule is highlighted in yellow...

boxing`s dying in part because guys like don king aren`t controlling things any longer...the guys that are in control are just as bad as king but just don`t seem to be able to put decent, competitive undercards together like king used to(arum did to a lesser extent but he`s thrown in with the new guys).....

if you paid for a high profile fight, you used to almost certainly get 2 or 3(or more) competitive fights between world class fighters on the undercard...you got your money`s worth.....now you get fights involving huge favorites vs set-ups...I just checked the odds on all the lined undercard fights on this card and the closest match-up was between a guy that`s -1500 and returning +700 on the dog........if you`re an actual boxing fan you aren`t interested in these walkover fights that are nothing more than a showcase for one of the big name promoters` future meal tickets...

king was an s.o.b.,but he sure knew how to put a boxing card together.....damned shame....

Floyd`s never had real issues with lefties...he`s actually the taller guy here and has a reach advantage.....he has slipped a little vs guys he used to totally outclass(maidana)......but I just can`t go against the guy here...

he does have brittle hands so that`s something that could become an issue.....that and the righty/lefty dynamic...the way manny jumps in with combinations,we might see a head butt or two...

I am no expert on boxing, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night. It will be a draw, odds went from 22-1 down to 6-1

I will too, to be honest. That's if i even watch it. I really don't care who wins or that they're fighting for some reason. I don't follow boxing much anymore.

Exactly.

Although I am having company, does anybody know if Buffalo Wild Wings will have it?

I doubt it.

5 years ago I would have paid a couple of bucks to see them fight. Now, it just seems like, a couple of guys at the end of their respective careers looking to cash in on their past. Too much hype for me.

During its earnings call Tuesday, Buffalo Wild Wings said only a few of its locations would show the fight because of the high cost.
Nine corporate locations are carrying the fight and will have a $20 cover charge.
The stock tumbled more than 10% Wednesday following its earnings report.:sadwave:

Unlikely our BWW will have it then, although they are big on fight nights.

I couldn't find the fight on the Internet for free last night...I read live blogs and pulled for Mayweather

How was it? I heard I saved 100 bucks and it was boring.

It was sort of boring. In my opinion, Manny came out flat and played defense most of the fight. Mayweather clearly won, but for the most part it was 2 guys dancing around the ring for 12 rounds. People probably won't pay to see Floyd fight again, major disappointment for 100 bucks. BTW, I found it on the net.

Even Buffer's voice was old and disappointing. Turrible fight. Went basically as expected I suppose, but turrible none the less. Probably be the last hyped boxing match for a very long time. I'm sure there isn't one person under 40 who became a boxing fan. Winner and still champion: UFC.
