Bob Estes -110 over Ken Duke (72 Holes)
Estes finished 21st here at the booz allen with 4 solid rounds and also played well in the little qualifier that stan posted. Duke has struggled on this course and also struggled on this years qualifier earlier this week.

Jim Furyk -125 over Phil Mickelson

Upgraded to a 6 unit play!!!

4 - 1 - 2 on the year :em71:

Hunter Mahan -105 over Woody Austin
(72 Holes)

Not over confident on this one but we'll see..

Still trying tonarrow down my players this week, however, I based my handicapping on a couple of different factors, since there is very little course form to speak of.....

The other Rees Jones courses on tour are the Buick Invitational, Barclays, Shell Houston Open, and the 2005 Booz. Thanks Stan for posting that little qualifier from Congressional, I used that as well.

I did happen to see some trends from certain players who play well on all of these courses, and mixed in with some decent form, here is the list of players I like:

Adam Scott is my "favorite" pick as he has played well around this track, as well as winning the Shell this year, and has played very well at Barclays. It seems the Jones courses fit his style of play.

Stuart Appleby
Bubba Watson
Bo Van Pelt
Tom Pernice
Bob Estes
Brett Quigley
Fredrik Jacobsen

I really like all of these guys, but I'd really like to cut one of two.....any thoughts? suggestions?

Any of you ballas take Faxon over scott and mick in rd 1 at +550 :scared

Scott actually has played well after that horrid start. Hes missed a ton of birdies.. might be a guy to look at as the tourney goes on.

I'm pretty sure not many of these guys currently on the leaderboard will be there come sunday ( or god i hope not.. because it will be pretty boring)
It will be interesting to see who shoots a higher score coming in Chris Couch or Todd Hamilton.. both guys have been disastrous the last few months.

Funk played great today.

I live close and it is supposed to rain tomorrow...light showers.

Look for Scott to bounce back.

No doubt man Scott missed a ton of putts ( look at his stats) He also 3 jacked 18 for par. Also a great card for Lovemark. Kim also played his back nine 3 under which is solid. Im not adding any more plays. I just hope I can sweep the pga event and maybe go 2/3 on the euro then cash out, but well see. :mj09:

1st round at 5 dimes:

Furyk +173 over Woods

pretty good value for a guy playing well vs. a guy who has been distracted

I actually ended up capping this for about half an hour before making this a play. Got in for +180 @ another out but upon hitting submit they inform me of a two dollar limit. WTF! Daily PGA tour matchups but you put out a cheesy limit.... weak.
