Silly question...is the cut after the 3rd round?

Don't see a projected cut line on any of the scoreboards.

Thx

Round 4 play (4pts):

Tiger Woods to beat Phil Mickelson -140 @ Carib [available generally]
Woods has looked to be in good form this week and that is shown by the stats - he leads the field in greens in regulation. Yes, it has been two years since he won a PGA Tour event, but Mickelson has only won once since his 2010 Masters title. I don't see him struggling under the final round pressure, whereas Mickelson is far more likely to take on risky shots being a shot further back and that should lead to a poor score.

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Ogilvy tb Owen -175; Singh tb Kokrak -138; Gay tb Harman -150; Mahan tb Johnson D -105; Mickelson tb Johnson D +100; Watney tb Walker -133]

Phil Mickelson 20/1: I am not a huge Mickelson fan but he's had a few tournaments to shake the rust off of his game. I looked back the past 5 years and a lot of his wins came on his 3rd consecutive start, as is the case this week. Also Tiger is playing so that should bring out his best.

Looking good Jimmy! :0074

ODDS TO WIN AT&T PEBBLE BEACH 2012 PHIL MICKELSON +2000

"Hats Off" :0008 , JimmyTime and Another Steve, for your great pick of Mickelson, who I had every week until Pebble Beach. :sadwave: And to top things off, even though I spent more time last week than any week to date this season in researching stats and narratives (i.e., angles), I sure wish before the start I had tripped over the fact that Ricky Barnes' dad had been a punter for two years with the New England Patriots way back when, since his amateur partner was their current head coaching legend, Bill Belichick . . . As I've often said, for me the most frustrating thing in this wagering game is the ones that could of or should of been that I wasn't even on, usually much more so than the ones I am on that melt away in the Sunday cauldron.

The best damn shot I saw all week was Phil hitting a little 130 yard 9 iron up the hill on 13 on Sunday to inside two feet, with a follow through that barely made it belt high, and what appeared to be about as soft of a swing as some little pitch off hard ground over a burn. I saw Phil play some similar shots over the weekend, but that was the epitome of being back in the wheelhouse of what he was doing at Royal St. George's, after prepping for a week at Castle Stuart . . . This is what I posted early on Saturday at Phoenix, and if I had seen some hint of what he displayed at Pebble, I never would have pulled back from letting him carry my cash . . .

It's not news, just stating the obvious, but Mickelson tries to nuke or nearly nuke too many shots, his irons almost as much as his driver. It sure seems that with his incredible talent, he should put far more variety, imagination and feel into his long shots (trajectory and distance control), and that would probably have some carryover to his imagination and feel in his short game, too, like when he finished second at Royal St. George's. I'm sure he hears about the same thing from Butch Harmon and Bones, but that man is stubborn.
