My only advice would be to not get emotional and sell at a loss. It is very volatile and there is a sale of 50k coins on Dec. 4th. Currently in a bullish upswing after the market hit a resistance at 350. I see a wall of sells now at 380. It's certainly not for the faint of heart with 10% swings daily.
Halving in Q2 of 2016. Never too late to join the band wagon. I've become heavily involved in the technology this last year and will be at the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami if anyone is attending. Dinner and drinks on me.
Coinbase is the US easiest entry into the space.
Currently at $463 a year after post.

Seeing as this is a gambling site. If purchasing Bitcoin DO NOT send from coinbase straight to gambling site. They will close your account due to US laws and restrictions. Have two wallets. One for receipt from Coinbase. One for personal spend from other address. ... :0074

It bounces... ita easily manipulated due to unregulated markets. You shoukd consider buying first of week, and selling 3AM Thursday night at settlement. Thats when all the contracts are due for day trading. They pump the price every thursday and usually it shits Friday around 11.... until it doesnt
Either way, I work closely with the issuing banks, with the payment processors... buy some gold... buy about 6k of bitcoin and in 2020 go buy a beach house...

Eventually youll understand 1 btc equals 1 btc. Everyone is concerned with the exchange. 1 btc equals x dollars... wont matter.
1 btc could be 400, 1000, 100000...
Or zero.
