Well, I was leaning to the Vols, now it's a pick.
It's funny, sometimes you stumble across a winning
pick in the simplest of ways. All I needed to push
me in the right direction was a couple of the above
posts. :mj07:

"yeah and if lsu takes care of the gayturds watch out sec east HOLLA ! g.l fellas !"

HAHAHAHA....how much did they "gayturds" hang on Fat Phils group of clowns this year? Just try not to get manhandled by Pac10 teams in the future. It makes the good teams in SEC look bad.

That 2001 game was one of the best football games I have been privileged to watch in person. Exciting game to say the least. Also, my first trip to Knoxville and consequently came away unimpressed for a closely contested game with 110k in attendance. That being said, wouldn't touch this game with a 10ft pole.

kramer, i take it you are on tenn? jabberwocky, i am with you as bad as i hate fla and tenn, i always pull for the sec when they play out of conference, especially in bowl games. funny thing is, tenn and fla never seem to hold up their end of the deal. how many times in the past have those two teams went and got an ass whippin laid on them? uga will usually win their bowl games. sad thng is a lot of years they had better teams.

players in the SEC almost make as big a difference as coaches do... only exception is LSU. Saban recruited monsters to play at that school. 17 of 22 starters are Saban's recruits.

Richt is a much better coach than Fat Phil. If Richt can outcoach SaBear in TTown, he could call the game from the golf course against Fulmer and win.:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
Stafford is much better than Ainge as well.
Who is the running back for UT?
I've seen 2 of their games and I have no idea. That's how good he is... They couldnt win last year with Gerald Riggs Jr.

I still havent seen the angle UT backers are coming from. And dont give me "homefield advantage" because its obvious Phil blows games in his own back yard.

what are you on? stafford is not in the league with ainge. as far as homefield advantage that really does come into play. if ga. was at home they would be a small fav. huge trend in the game is on tn. that being, play any non top 25 playing against a top 25 and the non ranked team is the favorite.

kramer here ya go. qucikest thing i could find.

1/1/00 Citrus Michigan St. L, 34-37
1/2/01 Sugar Miami (FL) L, 20-37
1/2/02 Orange Maryland W, 56-23
1/1/03 Outback Michigan L, 30-38
1/1/04 Outback Iowa L, 37-17
12/31/04 Peach Miami L, 27-10

even if they won in 05 and 06 i count a 5-3 record. maybe my math is wrong. could you check it for me? losing to the big teni s the worst part and hey they were good at it. hell south carolina managed to beat the big ten twice in the same span. and the team that south carolina beat? well what do you know. its the team from the big ten who has never beaten an sec team.

piss off.

Wisc/Illini

Wisc/Illini

Not sure why alot of you are talking about Illini beating the Badgers. They:nono: :nono: beat a very over rated PSU and Wisc is for real they will run the hell out of the ball and pound it all day. Illini beat a spent Psu team that was beat up by Mich and team that is also not very good!

zeke, I don't live in the past, I live in the present.
Fact of the matter is Tenn has had two weeks to
prepare for this game. Geo got there big away
game 2 weeks ago at Bama. I don't think they
repeat that this week. You can come into a guys
thread and talk smack all you want, but that is
not what this forum is about. Giving a different
view is one thing but talking chit is not what we
are here for.

GL Elvis....my numbers show GA as the play here. I guess with them being favorites now it negates the ranked vs. favored unranked system that applies. Should be a great game! I was surprised to see how the road team has done in recent yers.....won like 4 or 5 straight.
