I joined MJs awhile back to post tennis stuff, my favorite stuff. Had some great years, spec. while Rafa was making his move and further back when Federer was making his (Biggest play I ever made in any sport was him vs. Fulla PooPoo awhile back in the U.S. Open and Fed. was something like -160). I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched him (real close-like) in his two previous matches during that tourney. He came off the court looking better than he did coming into the court - not a wrinkle or drop of sweet on the super clean outfit was wearing, not a strand of hair out of place, GLIDED around that court like a champion ice skater and looked like he didn't even warm up yet afiter anilhilating his oponents. Ninety percent of the bankeroo went on that guy in the final and I'm a conservative player.
I'm pretty familiar with most players so I don't go by stats that much; just take a second look at how they've done RECENTLY. . I mostly go by what I SEE going on out there and that has worked good in the past. Been coming out of tourneys about even lately and thinking I may get the ball rolling again.
OK, nuff of the intro.. now to the MEAT n Tatoes..
Thoughts from events already played IMO:
Rafa: Still not the Rafa I used to know. Would LUV to see him pull this thing out, but he's gonna have to do much better. And that just might happen - "Decent Chance".
Roddick: Hard luck guy. All too often - he plays a winning game (ESP. in very late rounds of majors) and somehow the guy on the other side of the net starts playing "out of his mind". Sheesh. Really something. I'd give him a ->"Very silm chance".
Murray: Cool customer (the NEW Murray) looks exactly the same as the last time I followed him (2008-2009). Hard to gauge this guy, looks like he's half asleep out there, but LOOK where the ball he hits goes.
Federer: Really have to see how he's doing? I don't think we need the answer to that question - HUGE CHANCE.
Del Potro: I don't sink so.
DeJoka: Is he over his breathing/stamina problems? If not - NO CHANCE. If so - it all depends on who is on the other side of the net in the Final.
Women's side
Feel really good about this, BUT can't seperate these two I got pegged to win it ALL... Clisters or Henin.
Today ( I usually put two together for 2 teamers. Gilbus is a single, reg. play)
Gilbus -140
Korolev -320
Cristea -300
Somebody picked Gilbus/Monaco OVER (whatever the no. is, somting like 38) and I checked that one out cause I was thinking (only) the same thing. Hmm.. ------- - -> Yepper, I'll be on that play also.
Good Luck, MJ tennis fans.
