Got greedy with Chakvetadze...and out she goes. Chatvetadze double faulted on nine occasions. She made 54 unforced errors to Kirilenko's 30.

Ladies: 7-4 (+1.31 units)

Monaco lost 62 36 67 26

Mens: 9-6 (+2.71 units)

Looking to right this ship. I had a rough go of it Friday and Saturday. As I said, I got greedy with Chakvetadze and lost 8 units. I also lost 5 units on Guccione, my biggest mens play early in the week. Obviously, I angered the tennis gods with my lust for money and they kept me in check. Not too many sides from here on out, as it is tough to get a good price.

Mens:

Hewitt & Djokovic UNDER 38.5 games -110 3 units to win 2.7
James Blake -140 2.8 units to win 2

Ladies:

Kirilenko & Hantuchova OVER 22.5 games -110 4 units to win 3.6

I like Ana Ivanovic to cruise, but at -550 the price tag is too high. With the way the bottom half of the draw has opened, she looks to have a good shot at making it to the finals. She has Venus left to contend with, but all the heavy hitters are upstairs. I can see a scenario where Justine has to beat Maria, then Serena in order to meet Ivanovic for the title. By then, with the way Ana is playing, Henin may be ripe for the picking. You can still play her at +800 to win.

Federer/Blake UNDER 32.5 games -110 3 units to win 2.7

Nadal and Djokovic have both shown they are legitimate challengers to Roger this year in Australia. Both men have played great tennis and have yet to drop a set thus far in the tournament. I think it is important to him to show his dominance and Blake is the perfect opponent. Federer has won 18 of 19 sets played against Blake.

Nadal has narrowed the gap between #1 and #2 to it's smallest margin in four years. I truly believe Nadal will win a major outside of the French Open this year. With the way he is serving, this could very well be the one. At his current odds of +440, he is certainly worth a unit or two.

Ana Ivanovic +140 2.5 units to win 3.5

Revenge is sweet...Venus has knocked Ana out of the last two Grand Slam tournaments, but I like Ivanovic to pay back the favor tonight.

Good Luck tonight Wayne. Opposite on Ana Venus game, but one of us will win!!!

Just a lean...not yet an official play.

Tsonga to win first set +210

Tsonga has been serving too well not to get to at least one tiebreak in this match. He has played Nadal once before, losing in straight sets, which included a first set tiebreak. Nadal has looked somewhat vulnerable in the first sets of matches thus far, although he has yet to drop a set. The scores by round:

1st.... 7-6
2nd....6-0
3rd....7-5
4th....6-4
Quarters....7-5

Thanks for the kind words Chucky..

Re: Nadal -330.
I do not like to play favorites with a price tag of -300 or higher. Just too much juice. I agree that Nadal should win the match, but have seen too many surprise finalists here in Australia (Baghdatis, Schuttler, Clement, etc..) to risk that much on a play. I usually look for a better line elsewhere in the match. I think there is value in both Tsonga +6 games (-120) and also OVER 37.5 games (-115).

I am making the play on Tsonga an official play.

Tsonga wins 1st set +210

Nice call on Tsonga.

Thx for the Fed pick. Can someone chime in on Fed/Djokovic. Man, Djokovic looks strong like bull. I have a hard time believing he won't get a set.

Needless to say I'm a tennis novice, so GL on the pick.

I still have the pending outright with Sharapova (+1000) on the women's side.

On the men's side, they just posted the line for the final, and although I do not want to lose any more units, I can't help but think Tsonga at +225 holds tremendous value. Novak played very well against Federer, but I have never seen an undressing of Nadal like the one Tsonga placed on him. Djokovic has a great oppurtunity to claim his first Grand Slam, and that motivation should not be disregarded, but Tsonga has been the best player in this tournament thus far. He was simply brilliant against Nadal and has beaten the best since round one. He won against Murray, Gasquet, Youzhny, and Nadal. Why not Djokovic. Neither Nadal or Federer played a poor match in their semifinal defeats, rather these two finalists were in top form, setting up what should be an exciting final. Good luck wherever you choose to place your money.

Jo Wilfried Tsonga to win +225 2 units to win 4.5
