AO couldn't have asked for a better finals on both sides. The two greatest women in the last couple decades who are role models to both men and women battling it out. Pretty amazing stuff.

Then you have the greatest player of all time taking on Federer who was won a few events himself. Good stuff.

pretty incredible tennis in that 5th set, i know it goes without saying but what a fucking grinder rafa is, he willed himself to hold down 3-4 15-40 and clearly had less firepower than his opponent but his quickness looked to be back at pre-injury levels

i think if you like venus and are playing her to win the best way to play it is to win 2 sets to 1 at about 8-1, have to figure Serena wins a set but with their history of tank jobs when facing each other who really knows what will happen
