Played two futures this morning...

Andy Murray to win Aussie Open +550
Na Li to win Aussie Open +340

Both for 1 unit.

As for tonight's matches, I 'm leaning toward the Spaniard.

Well I think I will bet 1 million dollars on someone from Spain winning the Nadal match.

Of course knowing my luck there will be a double default:mj07:

I like the UNDER in Murray match an awful lot today. The top men are playing at a different level in this tournament and a quick look through Dogolpolov match history shows an interesting trend. Brad Gilbert pointed this out during the match against Soderling and I followed his lead.

The Ukranian player has played just one set of more than 10 games, 7-6 in the the fourth against Becker. Here is a breakdown of game played for Alex.

7-6: 1
7-5: 0
6-4: 2
6-3: 7
6-2: 2
6-1: 4
6-0: 1

An unbelievable 14 of 17 sets have been nine games or fewer for Dogolpolov. In the five sets he has dropped, he was beaten 36 16 36 36 06.

Murray has played brilliantly thus far, winning in straights all four rounds, while dropping a combined 22 games in 12 sets. The UNDER is set at 33.5 (-115) or 34 (-140). Even if Dolgopolov were to win a set, it is likely that the total could still end up right at 34 games (average 8.5 games per set).

Going to pull the trigger here.

Murray UNDER 33.5 games -115 2 units
Murray UNDER 34 games -140 2 units

Fucking Murray blows the UNDER

up 3 to 1 in the 3rd set and implodes

Asshole - this dude doesn't have what it takes to beat Fed or Nadal

He is mentally weak

yep

this kid will be good one day

good strokes pretty powerful (you could judge his potential more than me kick, but he seems good)

that being said, no reason this should be in a fourth set

Murray is a jerkoff

Murray is crap to watch, although effective. He's a good player but he's not winning this tourney. He needs to learn to pick up the agression when needed.

Agree 100%.

Amazing with Rafa out now, Murray can get to the finals without playing Soderling or Nadal.

This is the best chance yet in his career - but he always seems to blow it.

All Murray had to do was win that third set. 7-5 would have cashed both bets and 7-6 would have pushed UNDER 34 games at least.

So Dolgolpolov gifted the second set and Andy gifted the third...WTA tennis at its finest!!:mj07: :mj07:

Vera Zvonereva +132 3 units

Since Kim made her comeback almost 18 months ago she has been just so impressive. In Grand Slam's alone her record since coming back is 25 wins and just 2 losses. She is a big time player.

However, Clijsters is feeling the effects of playing two tournaments in a row - she had this to say after beating Radwanska:

"I just physically felt a little bit tired and heavy out there today."
"Got close in that second set. I felt that there were a few things I did really well, but there were also a few things that I just, my own feeling, I just didn't feel quite right every time out there."

"[I'll] just try to recover well and try to, yeah, just be a little bit fresher physically and mentally against Zvonareva."

Clijsters had her thigh taped and had taken took anti-inflammatories for a leg problem in her previous match.
But she said it had not affected her against Radwanska.

These two players met four times in 2010 with Vera winning three of those. They split their two GS meetings. Zvonereva needs to display more confidence while on the court in this spot. I think back to her two slam final losses against Kim and Serena...they wiped her off the court in about an hour. BUT that shouldn't erase the fact that she has been in the finals of her last two Slams.
