Sinner gets the job done in straight sets, rack up another Grand Slam for Sinner, and oh yeah, he's only 23 years old, absolutely incredible:eek: And to make it even more impressive he's playing now where the level is a gazillion times better then it was 25-30 years ago.

Sinner is so under-rated, he might very well be the most under-rated number 1 ever. It is incredible what he's done so far at such a young age. Be interesting to see how it all ends for him, he still has another ten years or so, and he'll continue to rack up more Major Titles. And he catches a break (pardon the pun), he isn't playing in an era with the three greatest ever in Nadal, Djokovic and Federer. Yep, that's a huge break right there for sure. Of course who knows what will happen in the next ten years, but this isn't chick tennis where the chicks have zero mental game and just go away and die. I don't see Sinner dropping out of the Top 50 and turning to Heroin or some shit, he should be along for the ride for a long long time.

3 Major Titles and only 23, ya gotta figure at the absolute worst he'll double that.

Of course he is fucking Anna Kalinskaya who is hot as fuck, once she dumps him that could cause him to go into a Major depression (pardon the pun) and he could quit tennis and move into the German Woods living in a cave or some shit, so ya never know:D

Oh and worth mentioning it sucks that Zverev didn't win the Final, he deserves at least one Major, hopefully before he retires he gets one. It is looking like he'll be the next Marcelo Rios (best player to not win a Major). And I hope that doesn't happen because Rios was (and still is) one of the biggest pieces of shit to ever play pro tennis, it would suck to be mentioned in same breath as Rios.

i just saw a little of sabalenka's meltdown after her match. as pathetic as that was, i'm even more entertained by her apologists. mostly saying how classy it was of her to (sort of) apologize afterwards.

the women in tennis have zero ability to handle adversity.

Actually I have zero issues with stuff right AFTER the match, good for her smashing racquets, I did that shit all the time. It is the shit on the court or even worse off the court when they just quit after 3 months of losing and that's it. If it gets mentally rough, some just break. Hell you trash talk some of em and they have a full mental breakdown, it is pathetic.

So many you'll see crack the Top 100, or crack Top 50, they have a tiny bit of adversity.....then 1 year later they are gone, and it is almost always mental, they just give up.

this reminds me... i keep meaning to mention this... i'm kinda surprised by the complete lack of any conversation between the players. i assume many of them are friends, or at least friendly, away from the court. some trash talk would be fun. but even when they cross paths to get to their chairs between games, nary a word is spoken.

i get it.... when some athletes are focused, they don't want anything to break that. but i think if they'd show some personality on court (besides hissy fits), that would only help the sport.

For the men, there is lots of trash talk, it just doesn't take place during a match because rules are in place to prevent it. Though it is true most of the guys in Top 200 do get along, there is plenty of shit that goes on "off the court".

Now with microphones everywhere and all the people out there that get easily offended, it ain't worth it to say anything. I mean you can't say anything now or you'll get cancelled(n) For fucks sake you have fans in crowd that boo if a dude throws his racquet, imagine what they do if they heard a swear word. It is just pathetic now, so yeah, keep your mouth shut.

Oh and back in the day I saw tons of fights in parking lots, hotel lobbies and on practice courts, even a couple fights in airports. But of course that was when there were not cameras and microphones everywhere.

I do agree though, be oh so much better if the players could trash talk one another on court and not be worried about being banned for life for using a swear word🤦‍♀️
