i typed my post that i erased while i was on hold on the phone....but after giving it much thought i deleted it because nobody is going to change anybody else's mind....i have realized that it is a circle jerk posting on a political forum & a waste of time....i can be more productive doing something else....so i am trying to withdraw from doing it...

it's obvious to me that obama hasn't been honest with his association with some of these people....but if you are satified with it...i am not going to debate you on it....at this point i really don't care because i can live with whoever wins...

Al, what you say is somewhat true. But it is a hobby for us political junkies. It is an outlet we use and thank God that we can. It is one of the greatest expressions of freedom we have.

Do I think I am going to make Weasel or DTB or DrFreeze vote for Obama? Of course not. But I am not going to sit by while they run their agenda.

Anyway, it is nothing to really get very upset about. Sometimes we get to name calling. Hell, I have been called every name in the book here. Weasel, a guy I like, Put a curse on my family. I don't care about the name calling, I have called people a few names myself. The pox on my family I admit was like a dagger to the heart.

I hope you stay around. It is fun to pass ideas around and see what happens.

The principle of this forum is no different than the capping forums in my opinion. You're right, my mind isn't going to be changed when it comes to my lean and my vote, but I have learned much from hearing the other view, especially from posters I respect, such as yourself.

Only time I get annoyed is when I read posts with no basis, such as "Obama is a terrorist" "Obama is a muslim" (still not sure what would be the big deal if he was). And an attack on his inexperience is valid and I get it, an attack on his character with false claims is something else. What makes it worse is when some posters insinuate a vote for Obama proves that you are somehow not American.

Guess it just gets more personal because the winner of this "game" impacts our lives much more than if the Eagles beat the Cowboys on a given Sunday. Just my 2 cents.

I have a question for you guys who continually drone on about Obama's "ties." What exactly do you think will happen because of them - for the sake of argument, let's say they are what are hinted that they are from the searchers to discredit Obama.

What will happen to America because Obama knew these people, or lived close to them, or were on a board with them, or was an elected official in the areas where they were? What will happen to you, me, whomever? What exactly are you afraid will happen? Do you think Obama will bomb something, or approve of bombing American citizens? Do you think he will take the podium after election day and scream "kill whitey!" or some such thing? Do you think he will put these people in positions of importance or power in his administration?

I look at who McCain has surrounded himself with...Palin, Gramm and Joe the Plumber. I thought yesterday McCain was going to cancel the one appearance when he thought Joe the Plumber was supposed to be on stage with him...how sad is that? Obama is next to Joe Biden, and has offered a role in his administration to Colin Powell. These are the initial decisions made by the two candidates in question, and tell me a lot. But I look forward to hearing what exactly will happen because of the ties you guys are so fervently holding on to. Keeping in mind Obama has publicly denounced their comments and actions.

Ever here the saying when you lay down with dogs you get fleas.

Did your folks ever tell you when you were young not to hang out with certain elements--why you think that was.

Does one associate with people they have nothing in common with. is it possible they share beliefs?

Do casual aquaintances spend several times at each others homes.

ask yourself--
When you attend a church for 20 years calling pastor mentor and uncle--you think they might remotely share same views? You think denouncing him only after it becomes public--is truth or political posturing--

If elected --how will you ever know if he's telling the truth or duping you again.

He done 180 on several important issues saying what it took in the primary--and changing horses in the national election--which O is the one your voting for?

Phil Gramm proclaimed that "Americans are whiners" which is basically 100% true. Myself included. If that is the worst thing he has done, I am not sure how it compares to bombing the pentagon and proclaiming RFK's assassin as your hero.

Joe Plumber was a guy playing catch with his boy who asked Obama a question when he was walking down the street. Little did he know the brownshirts would come after him.

Look at you tranced out Obamaphiles. You are pathetic. This guy has a long history of associating with the worst scum in the country and the mainstream media is silent. They would rather send Anderstutter Cooper to some remote island in Alaska that can see Russia and report on what the people there think. They have turned a completely blind eye to BHO and his associations with ZERO investigative journalism.

.

yeh because its a crock of shit and everyone with half a brain knows it.

And the few that try to vet this guy are attacked viciously. For reporting what this guy's biography is really about. This Ayers guy is among the most dispicable walking the earth right now and you people would rather insult the people who tell you about him.
..............................................................

dont worry matt drudge they said the same things about arnold swazenegger and he has done a good job in California.

McCain believed Karl Rove because it worked on him when he lost. He let Rove guide him with all this attack crap and it is going to come back and bite him in the butt.

What McCain didnt realize was that Karl Rove wanted to throw McCain under the bus. And he has.

He was mentioned by McCain 21 times in the last debate. 'Joe the Plumber' whines about the media coverage but goes on the campaign trail agreeing that it will be 'death to Israel' if Obama is elected.

Joe is an unlicensed 'plumber' who has no way to buy that business that he referred to.

He's definitely an opportunist and i'm sure he'll cash in big-time one way or another before it's all said and done.
