Yes it was a "bad beat" for sure, but there are worse ones out there, yyz example for one. I can think of three examples that I have had that were worse then the ending of the Baltimore game. And yes terrible luck if you had the Browns, nobody is debating that it just isn't the worst of all time.
I had one example like that happen to me in a Super 12 Rugby match. And I am not even going to discuss a tennis match I had a wager on that ranks as perhaps the worst "bad beat" in history of sports gambling
Oh and then there was a CFL game I lost on that made the "million laterals for a safety" in the Browns game look like nothing.

I agree. It's one of the worst beats I have ever seen.You are covering with 2 seconds left and over a dozen laterals later you lose on a safety? That's just as bad as any. You can try and quantify them all you want, but the game had 2 seconds left and you walk away a loser on some complete bullshit play that I'm not so sure was even legal. But they didn't go to the review to see if there was anything penal about the fumbles, passes and laterals....

Definitely a bad beat.....but the exact same scenario happens every year....a team loses the cover on the desperation pitch play.....
Hard to make it the worst Ioss ever when it happens regularly.
And....the spread winner changed hands like 4 times in the 4th quarter.
Imagine having a team getting points and leading/covering for 59.40.....only to lose the game/cover on a td with 20 seconds left....when a fg would have done the job for the win but non cover......THAT is a bad beat.
